In our experience, talking about legacy is often subtly discouraged by society and we find this to be deeply unfortunate. Thinking about the legacy you would like to build can help you better align your work, life, time – your sweat and tears – with your values. Below, we’ve tried to create a space for folks to start conversations about they legacies they are hoping to build.

The legacy I hope to build is one of empowering others, especially those who feel they aren’t good enough or special enough. I want to leave behind a sense of confidence for people, helping them recognize that they are unique, irreplaceable, and worthy just as they are. When I’m gone, I hope people will say I was loyal, fun, talented, and generous. Most importantly, I want to be remembered for inspiring others and making them feel truly seen and valued. Read more>>

The legacy that I’m going to build is one that serves others, brings joy, a sense of family, and the biggest is an understanding of how good God is.
Thing things I’m building on now from standup, short films, podcast, sketches and other things I’m pouring into are the foundation to providing for others. I’ve never been about I wanna be rich so I can wipe my butt with $100 bills. My heart has always been, I can’t wait to make it so I can provide jobs to my friends/family and ultimately buy land to start a community close people can buy into (not a cult haha). Read more>>

I hope to leave a legacy that is unforgettable. It does not happen overnight but over time. Leaving a legacy that is not what is etched in stone monuments, but what is woven into the lives of others. Touching many hearts, one day at a time. The most important thing for me is to try to inspire people so that they can be great in whatever they want to do in life. I believe leaving a legacy is about the impact I have on others, not the possessions I leave behind. This is why I started a business that gives back to the community, while treating others with kindness and empathy. The hard work, the grind, the discipline, focus and consistency. Read more>>

From a young age, I learned that the world could be both a challenging and inspiring place. Diagnosed with a learning disability, I often felt as though I was navigating a world built for others. But instead of letting this define me, I discovered something extraordinary: a way to learn how to learn. Read more>>

First and foremost I always want to be original and create my own way. Most of my satisfaction comes from being able to create my own pieces. I’m never trying to do anything that someone has ever done, unless that is what the client asks for but even then, to me, it’s always how can we separate and make a certain piece the clients. I always want my legacy to be one that is me always being creative, always thinking outside of the box and every piece drives me to do that. I thank god for that ability and I hope that when it’s all said done that’s what I’m remembered for. Read more>>

I come from a background where event planning and design is not a normal form of career path nor does my community fully understand the need for someone like me and why they should hire me. It isn’t until they see me at work and experience what the benefits of investing in an event manager are, that they fully appreciate it. This is how I have been able to grow in my business. Through word of mouth, testimonials from my past clients; they typically rave about how they did not know how one could have managed without hiring an event planner like myself. Read more>>
