We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Milkin’ It. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Milkin’ It below.
Alright, Milkin’ It thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to hear the backstory behind a risk you’ve taken – whether big or small, walk us through what it was like and how it ultimately turned out.
Our podcast is not big nor do we make money from it but one risk we take is making investments into the podcast where we won’t see a return anytime soon. We are believing that someday it will happen but its a risk we are willing to take. We started with the equipment that Arturo has from his video production company Apollo Studios. From there we slowly started adding equipment and extra items as we saw needed. From using a 360 camera and 4 microphones to have lighting, a camera and an audio board. We are having fun with this endeavor and honestly that is all that matters.

Milkin’ It, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Well when we started recording we just wanted to record our conversations as four friends, mainly because we have already had prior conversations of random topics and had fun talking about them. We thought to ourselves why not record our conversation and post them online. That’s how Milkin’ It started. In our podcast we talk about pretty much anything, nothing is off the table. We start off by tasting a random milk that Sebastian brings us then go into our topic and try to milk the topic, hence why its called “Milkin’ It”. We are all Christians and well it doesn’t matter the topic we will almost always come back to God. We have recorded episodes with guest talking about theology all the way to mental health. We are hoping to invite more guests and talk about their life story.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
This whole podcast has been an illustration of our resilience. It is difficult to coordinate with 4 people and sometimes up to 8 to come and record an episode. Having the motivation to keep shooting episodes because you never know when one of us just doesn’t want to do it or keep going. Thankfully I can say that there are times when we don’t record for awhile, that one of us brings up that we need to record and its not just one person pushing the rest of us the entire time. So grateful to have a team like that, and before we are even a team or hosts of a podcast we are most importantly friends. We are blessed to have each other.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
We hope to inspire others to tackle there creative journey no matter how small. Like we mentioned before, we are Christians and we hope that although we may not talk about theology but we pray that we reflect Jesus in our conversations no matter how random the topic that we may plant a seed of hope in our viewers/listeners. We want to be a place where our viewers/listeners can feel like they can reach out to us if they are feeling down or going through something, we may not know all the answers but they will have a place where they can feel safe to open up with us.
