Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Mallum Sanchez. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Mallum, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?
During my last interview, I spoke about how I met my friends that helped me found this company. I included a picture that shows where we were when we decided to go ahead with our plan and follow our passion, on the banks of the Danube River. What I haven’t talked about yet, is how our group trip culminated in this revelation.
Often, I would look online, trying to find information regarding fitness and mindset training etc, and be lost in pages upon pages, not knowing what works, what is just a cashgrab and what is legitimate. I expressed my desire to allow people to conveniently access what they need through a simple process.
Tanner always wanted to provide others with his vision through the form of “San Antonio Discipline”, but found it difficult to gain a platform to allow him to operate from. He thought about it, and decided he would take action, and construct a virtual space for his coaching.
Kairi, through years of organisation at the liquor store, gained an eye for detail, and for categorizing products by various factors, chronologically, by brand, type and so on. His incredible skill helped him organise his notes for high school too, allowing him to process information efficiently.
Through my wish to create an archive for data that I can curate, Tanner’s dream of helping others see his vision, and Kairi’s effective creative and organisational skills, we saw that together we could all achieve our vision collectively.

Mallum, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I got into this business with my two friends, Tanner Cunningham and Kairi Satō.
We run a “digital signpost” business, modelled to help individuals find particular sets of information that we specialise in.
Our in depth story of how we met can be found in the previous Voyage San Antonio interview.
I haven’t really seen anyone operate in a similar way to us in our specific field, so we have an edge over competition.
I’m extremely proud of all my team has managed to achieve and how dedicated they are to our plan.

What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
The Internet is one of the greatest inventions of the modern era. It has been a key aspect in our marketing campaign. We have no physical presence, yet our online posts have brought many people to our services that otherwise wouldn’t have known about us.
Innovation is essential, especially in a business setting. You must stay ahead of the game if you want to improve your outcome, and I definitely recommend online advertisement via ads and social media as one of the most viable forms of marketing today.

Are there any books, videos or other content that you feel have meaningfully impacted your thinking?
I think that there are a lot of incredible influencers out there today on many platforms that have shaped my philosophy. I particularly like X, as it has a wonderful range of opinions, allowing individuals to present thoughts and counter arguments.
Forming an opinion cohesively requires both sides of an argument to be logically presented, and considered. This is one of the greatest ways we as humans have managed to evolve, by employing opinions based on dialogue and challenging each other if we disagree.
Elon Musk is one of my greatest inspirations. His story, and how he created SpaceX is phenomenal. It’s absolutely astounding that one man’s empire can lead to such incredible levels of innovation. Who would have thought that somebody can create his very own spaceships and further the fields of science and engineering, purely based on vision.
His tremendous dedication to execute his dream, as well as his charitable personality displayed in events like floods and natural disasters when he gives people StarLink to help connect them to the rest of the world is admirable and has certainly shaped me as a person.
Two other individuals that have had a great impact on me are the Tate brothers. Their incredible unwavering spirits never gave up in the face of potentially being falsely imprisoned. They kept going, after imprisonment for months and a legal case spanning over a year, finally receiving a verdict that the accusations were lies. It takes an incredible amount of willpower to stand unyielding in the face of immense pressure, and this is one of the most important messages I have learned.
Of course, their fitness and mindset advice, which fits into our business, has undoubtedly shaped how we work and the messages we provide. Their TatePledge charity initiative is also amazing to see.
Their otherworldly dedication is something we should all practice, and will allow humanity to reach new heights in all realms of innovation and ethics.
