We were lucky to catch up with Ayeesha Barnes recently and have shared our conversation below.

Ayeesha , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. It’s always helpful to hear about times when someone’s had to take a risk – how did they think through the decision, why did they take the risk, and what ended up happening. We’d love to hear about a risk you’ve taken.

The biggest risk one can ever take is betting on themselves when everyone around them may have doubts. Others may not understand your vision at the moment but it is not for them to see always believe in yourself and your vision and just go for it ! I can tend to be a chronic overthinker and I’ve learned along the years that does nothing but hold me back from what I will inevitably do anyways! Go for it the worst that may happen is you don’t succeed but all that means is you know what not to do the next time because giving up is never an option.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

I got into content creation by simply just being myself people in my person life has always expressed how funny I am and my ability to make people laugh . For my future endeavors heading into the new year I want to start a candle business as well as dive more into the beauty industry. I love to challenge myself with new things !

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?

During my journey I have lost a lot of people along the way sometimes finding myself in solitude with no one around to motivate me but God himself. It has taught me strength that I didn’t even know I had, showing myself that I can succeed no matter what .

Do you think you’d choose a different profession or specialty if you were starting now?

If I had to go back I think I would reconsider choosing healthcare as a career path and go into the beauty industry as it’s more light hearted but yet you are still touching people and making their day! I plan on diving more into that in this up and coming year .
