We recently connected with Alejandra Avalos Carranza and have shared our conversation below.
Alejandra , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What do you think Corporate America gets wrong in your industry? Any stories or anecdotes that illustrate why this matters?
Corporate America is a great place to begin your journey, in experiencing what business can look like. I do want to touch a bit more on the other end of the spectrum. Real life scenarios can be different from what you see in corporate environments. When you’re building your own company, you have to unlearn what you learned in your job, because it’s not gonna be the same at all.
You have to become a totally different person in order to create economic value from your own business. What Corporate America gets wrong is that small companies can’t grow past the big corporations or even make a name for themselves. Today, we are looking at different data, information and technology of what consumers are really looking for. And that is: They want to feel a sense of relatability or connection with the service or product. The consumer doesn’t want to be sold to, they want to be heard and understood to make the purchase or subscribe to your product. Corporate America has gotten greedy in the past 20 years and we see this in the value of what we are buying. It’s definitely been watered down and the customer service experience, from a personal experience, has gotten even worse through the years.
Corporate America can really improve any adding a more personable experience to consumers and businesses. At the end of the day, the consumer is the one in control and as they should be.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
ACMG Digital (Avalos Carr Media Group)
Is a start up, global enterprise located in Downtown Austin, Texas. I started this company when I began Podcasting in late 2023 and quickly noticed a gap in the Entrepreneurial industry. I received many inquiries from CEO’s, founders, well known authors to come on my podcast to share their stories. As time progressed, I had over 80 interviews and noticed these amazing professionals needed advertising and marketing to gain attention.
My team and I now, are working hard behind the scenes by obtaining contracts with start ups, entrepreneurs, digital creators, brands and more to help them not only get on major publications such as Forbes, Yahoo Finance, Buzz Feed and more, but to help them get customers and new set of eyes on their products daily. We offer mass marketing, advertising, SEO services, Chat GPT support, Ai implementation to their websites and more. Our podcast ACMG Digital Podcast is now surpassing 50k Streams in 49+ countries globally. The podcast helps us reach new listeners and clients as well. We are on a mission to help a million start ups and entrepreneurs get seen!

How did you build your audience on social media?
The way I built my audience on social media is by being authentic. There’s been an influx of influencers in the media, who have created an unrealistic narrative of what it’s like to own a company or being an entrepreneur. But I’m here to break those illusions by showing the real side of what it’s like to become an owner or CEO. Telling the truth, sharing your raw experience and knowledge will always set you up for success. Know your audience by connecting with them on an emotional level. Be relatable by showing your quirky side and engaging with your followers. Give them freebies to your special content to ignite massive interest. Most of all, stay original by providing the best content and quality information.

Have you ever had to pivot?
I personally had to pivot many times in my business journey. My first failed business was a mobile notary business I started. I serviced many attorneys and real estate companies by notarizing documents and serving as a witness. I noticed the business was growing slowly, it wasn’t as profitable due to gas prices surging and it required for me to be available 24/7 without any stability of when clients where gonna call. Overall I made my initial investment back but realized I had to pivot, due to the old model of business, the Notary legal world currently had. During that time, I received a call from a start up in Austin, to see if I wanted to join forces and automate the Notary services by offering a Saas Technology app to this and becoming a remote service. We ended up partnering but unfortunately due to the lack of funding, we parted ways. I made the final decision to close shop and improvise my real estate investments I already was growing with a co-investor. I learned many lessons and failure is part of your success. Try things and fail fast to learn what works for you.
