Hi Celeste, thanks for joining us today. We’d love to hear from you about what you think Corporate America gets wrong in your industry and why it matters.
The beauty industry hasn’t really evolved much when it comes to creating real growth opportunities. With a limited range of services available, the only thing that really sets one technician apart from another is the quality of their work and the overall experience they provide.
Big corporate brands take up so much space in the industry and that makes it more challenging for smaller businesses to make a name for themselves. These companies often focus on convenience and profits. Offering high ticket services done by beauty school graduates who are still finding their footing. While the convenience is great, the quality of service can suffer and that’s where mistakes happen.
When money starts to flow, corners tend to get cut. Whether it’s during hiring, training or maintaining service standards, the focus shifts to quantity over quality. That’s where I think Corporate American gets it wrong.
I spent my first five years as a licensed esthetician working for the largest waxing chain in the country. I was one of the top sales associates in my district and eventually became a trainer for new hires. During my own training, I noticed there wasn’t much focus on the details that actually matter for delivering a great services.The emphasis was always on getting new estheticians to take as many clients as possible, whether they were ready or not.
When I became a trainer, I saw the same issues. Minimal expectations for the training itself but a big push to put new hires on the books quickly. It was frustrating to see how much quality was sacrificed just to get more people through the door.
This “quantity over quality” mindset is one of the biggest problems in the beauty industry today. It’s actually one of the reasons I started Se Sòucier Beverly Hills. I wanted to create a space where the focus is on giving people thoughtful, personalized services with real results. Clients deserve more than rushed appointments. They deserve to feel valued and cared for every step of the way.

My name is Celeste, and I’ve been a licensed esthetician for six years. Skincare and beauty have always been passions of mine, but what really drew me to this industry was the ability to help people feel confident and cared for in their own skin.
I started my career as a wax specialist at one of the largest waxing chains in the country, where I quickly became a top sales associate and trainer. While I gained valuable experience, I couldn’t ignore the lack of focus on personalized care and quality. That inspired me to create something different, something that truly put the client’s needs first. In 2022, I launched Se Sóucier Beverly Hills, a brand rooted in exceptional customer service and skin health.
At Se Sóucier Beverly Hills, I specialize in full body waxing and eyebrow services that prioritize skin health. From bikini waxing to eyebrow lamination, I focus on providing thoughtful, detail oriented services tailored to each client’s unique needs. I also take time to educate clients about their skin, helping them build routines and choose products that deliver real results.
What sets my brand apart is the personalized care I bring to every appointment. I believe beauty services should never feel rushed or impersonal. My goal is to create a comfortable, empowering experience that leaves clients feeling confident, valued, and cared for.
One of the things I’m most proud of is the trust and loyalty I’ve built with my clients. Celebrating Se Sóucier Beverly Hills’ second anniversary this year was a huge milestone and a reminder of how far I’ve come since starting this journey.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
I think my reputation was built on the foundation of strong client relationships. Most of my new clients come through referrals, which means everything to me. It’s a priority of mine to ensure that everyone who walks through the doors of Se Sóucier Beverly Hills has the best experience possible. When clients trust me enough to recommend my services to a friend, family member, or coworker, it speaks volumes about the care and quality they’ve experienced.
My years of experience as an esthetician and trainer have also played a role in building my reputation. While technical skills are important, I’ve found that paying attention to the little things like remembering a client’s preferences or making sure they feel valued makes the biggest difference.

Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
I utilize multiple channels to stay connected, including email newsletters, social media, and occasionally text reminders for upcoming appointments or new service offerings. Sharing skincare tips and behind the scene updates on social media keeps clients engaged and helps them learn more about what I do. When clients feel informed and involved, they’re more likely to remain loyal to the brand.
I also believe in celebrating client loyalty. That can mean referral bonuses or early access to new services. When clients see genuine value in staying connected, they continue to choose Se Sóucier Beverly Hills. Loyalty programs and little tokens of appreciation remind clients that I recognize and value their support.
