We were lucky to catch up with Richard Reynolds recently and have shared our conversation below.

Richard , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Can you take us back in time to the first dollar you earned as a creative – how did it happen? What’s the story?

The very first time I generated revenue online I was so excited and I haven’t stopped since. Let me paint the picture for you. I am a Gospel singer that has been singing all my life. In 2020 I released a Single called God’s Plan. During the release I saw a coach on the Instagram Platform offering a Free training session on how to turn your passion into your profit. I took the course and learned just that and it has truly changed my life. The first thing I sold was a devotional that i had previously released as a hard copy in the session with the coach i learned how to release it as a digital copy. From there I have released several.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

Growing up I have always sang by singing it has opened up so many doors for me. I am JR Reynolds and Gospel Recording artist an entertainer who founded a company called Eagle Vision Productions. Eagle Vision Productions was created to give undiscovered talent a platform to be in stage productions and artists showcase. We have produced 3 sold out stage plays. 1. Love is all it takes. 2. Love is all it takes 2. 3. God’s plan. and we have hosted several events including praise and worship nights on Fridays. As I continued to grow as an artists i felt the need to make sure that other talent that has worked with Eagle Vision Productions grew as well. So that is how we moved into entertainment coaching. We have five different areas we assist talent in to make sure they are industry ready. 1. Media personalities ( we make sure you know how to speak about yourself. 2 Singers. We make sure before you release your music your paperwork is done correctly. 3. Actors / Actresses we make sure you can show up in any audition room prepared. 4 We make sure you know how to build your presence on social media so that it helps your brand off of social media. 5. For those who need assistance putting on a production we are here to assist.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?

Since a child all i ever wanted to do is sing. I felt like i was being punished because I hadn’t reached the level of success as others. I later came to find out God was making me take the long route for a reason. If he would have let me become a singer professional when i wanted to then i would have been able to go throw all the test in trials that made me who i am today. I also would have discovered all the other things inside of me that have made me a success in the entertainment industry. Please don’t forget the promise and stick to the plan no matter how long it takes.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?

The most rewarding part of my journey has been creating my own table. Building a platform that people need. Sometimes people may not allow you on their stage but you can always create yours! I have learned that and i’m fine with that. Your vibe attracts your tribe. Be yourself.
