We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Isaac Poole. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Isaac below.
Isaac, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s jump right into how you came up with the idea?
The idea for my creative services business came from a deeply personal place—my desire to tell stories that matter and connect with people on a human level. I grew up inspired by resilience, creativity, and the power of self-expression, particularly through my mother’s ability to create beauty and strength in the face of challenges. At 15, my cousin introduced me to photography, and it sparked something in me—a realization that I could use this medium to capture not just images, but emotions, narratives, and perspectives that often go unseen.
As I honed my craft, I realized that photography isn’t just about aesthetics; it’s about creating work that resonates with people, whether by inspiring confidence, celebrating identity, or simply evoking a feeling that lingers. I wanted to build a business that reflected this purpose—crafting timeless, evocative imagery that connects deeply with audiences.
The logic behind my belief in success lies in my unique vision and approach. I strive to combine authenticity, cultural richness, and emotional depth in a way that feels both personal and universal. I also saw a gap in the industry for imagery that is elegant yet honest—work that celebrates beauty without compromising its humanity. This is where I knew I could succeed: by staying true to my mission of storytelling, while building connections with people and brands who share the same values.
Ultimately, this business is an extension of my passion for creating something meaningful—something that doesn’t just capture the moment, but transforms it into art that lasts forever. That’s why I knew this wasn’t just a career; it was a calling.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I’m Isaac Poole, a photographer and visual storyteller who believes that every person, every moment, and every story deserves to be seen and celebrated. My journey into photography began when I was 16, inspired by my cousin who handed me a camera for the first time. From that moment, I realized the power of an image to preserve not just how someone looks, but how they feel—their essence, their truth.
For me, photography is deeply personal. It’s a way to connect with people, to understand their stories, and to give them something lasting and meaningful. My work is rooted in storytelling—every photograph is a chapter, a glimpse into something bigger than what the eye can see. My goal is always the same, to capture something real, something human.
What sets my work apart is its emotional depth. I don’t just take pictures; I create experiences where my subjects feel seen, valued, and understood. I focus on the small details—the shadows that hint at vulnerability, the light that reveals strength, and the moments in between that tell the truest stories.
I am proud of the way my work has made people feel. Photography allows me to freeze fleeting moments, to preserve emotions that might otherwise fade, and to create a connection between the subject, the viewer, and the story being told.
To those who don’t know me yet: my work isn’t about perfection, it’s about truth. It’s about creating imagery that resonates with the soul and tells stories that linger long after the moment is gone. Whether I’m working with individuals, brands, or creatives, my goal is to create something timeless, something that speaks to the beauty of being human.
This is what drives me every day: the belief that stories matter, that images can inspire, and that through photography, we can hold on to the emotions and experiences that shape who we are.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
One of the most defining moments of my journey came during a time when I had just moved to New York City to pursue photography full-time. I was balancing the weight of financial instability, the pressure to establish myself in a highly competitive industry, and the responsibility of being a father. There were days when I felt utterly defeated, struggling to find work, pushing myself to create, and facing rejection after rejection. But every time I felt like giving up, I thought about my son. He became my anchor and my motivation to keep going, to keep pushing.
One particular instance stands out: I had the opportunity to work on a project, but the budget was tight, and I had to sacrifice my personal comfort to make it happen. Despite the odds, I poured every ounce of myself into that shoot—knowing it was a stepping stone to something greater. That experience taught me that resilience is about showing up, even when the path feels unclear, and trusting that each small step leads to bigger opportunities.
Now, when I look back at those moments of struggle, I see them as fuel for my growth and as proof of my ability to overcome. Resilience, for me, is not just about surviving the hard times but using them as a foundation to build something greater.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
The most rewarding aspect of being an artist is the ability to take intangible emotions and stories and transform them into something visual and lasting. There’s something incredibly fulfilling about creating work that connects deeply with others, I take a lot of joy in making others feel seen or heard. Photography, for me, isn’t just about capturing moments; it’s about preserving the essence of a person or an experience in a way that feels honest and timeless. Knowing that my art can resonate with someone on a soul level and perhaps even shift their perspective is the greatest reward.
