Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Samantha Simmons. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Samantha, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today To kick things off, we’d love to hear about things you or your brand do that diverge from the industry standard
Our team provides fully customizable services designed to meet the unique needs of our clients. This includes WEEKLY communication and maintenance, a level of dedication that is often unheard of with outsourced accounting services. We pride ourselves on building strong relationships with our clients, taking the time to truly understand their business operations and habits. This personalized approach allows us to offer proactive support, helping our clients identify and address critical issues such as fraud, missed revenue opportunities, and potential tax problems much sooner.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I began my journey in the accounting industry as an office manager for a real estate management company, where I spent several years overseeing a wide range of responsibilities. From managing over 500 tenants, renovation projects, and maintenance to handling the accounting for the entire operation, this role laid a strong foundation for my future growth.
After leaving that position, I quickly outgrew two full-time roles by exceeding efficiency expectations and completing tasks well ahead of schedule. It became clear to me that I needed to pursue something greater—leveraging my skills to provide efficient, reliable services to multiple businesses at once.
Taking that leap of faith was one of the best decisions I ever made. What started as a solo venture has since grown into a thriving team of eight dedicated women, collectively supporting the needs of hundreds of small businesses every year. I couldn’t be prouder of how far we’ve come.

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
Local marketing groups have been the BEST source of contacts for our firm, helping us grow and connect with businesses like never before. By actively participating in these groups, we’ve been able to build strong relationships and expand our network across central VA. These connections have been invaluable, leading to client contacts not just locally but in 15 states across the country! It’s incredible to see the reach and opportunities that come from being involved in these communities. We strongly encourage you to join local business coalitions, chambers of commerce, BNI chapters, and FemCity groups. These networks offer valuable opportunities to connect, collaborate, and grow.

How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?
We prioritize staying connected with our clients and building a brand that’s both trusted and well-loved. Here’s how we do it:
Our team communicates with clients weekly through text or email to maintain strong, consistent relationships.
If a client offers a product or service we can use, we make a point to support their business whenever possible.
For those who value a personal touch, we provide monthly in-office or virtual meetings to foster meaningful, face-to-face interactions.
We actively participate in as many local events as our schedule allows, staying engaged with the community.
Twice a month, we send out educational newsletters to keep our clients informed about our team, industry updates, and even local community news.
Beyond this, we’re committed to giving back. Our brand proudly sponsors local nonprofits and community organizations—showing that we care about more than just business; we value the community we serve.
And finally, I, Samantha, live and breathe our brand—literally! My turquoise-colored hair reflects our signature brand color, ensuring I’m always “on-brand.”
