Blvxxkk, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Can you open up about a risk you’ve taken – what it was like taking that risk, why you took the risk and how it turned out?
A risk I’ve taken was quoting my job to pursue music full time. I knew how big of a risk it would be and how many sacrifices I would have to make to achieve my dream of pursuing music and being successful at it. I decided to take the risk to devote all of my time and energy into music. I didn’t want anything to get in the way of what I wanted to do as a career and for the rest of my life.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My name is Tyler Herron also known as “Blvxxkk” (pronounced black). I am a musician and producer. I got. my start by moving to Los Angeles and working hard out there. I then moved to Atlanta and things started moving for me. What sets me apart from others is that I simply never quit. I give my all into this and have been since day 1. I. am most proud of making music others can relate to and producing music others can relate to and create memories with.
Looking back, are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?
Yes, I wish I utilized the internet more and wish I wasn’t too stubborn to ask questions about my industry.
What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
The goal and mission driving my creative journey is simply my family. I get the support and motivation from them so that makes me want to continue and keep working hard for them.
