Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Vanezza Reyes. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Vanezza, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
I am a Venezuelan immigrant who arrived in this country six and a half years ago. I left behind a successful academic career due to the political crisis in my home country. From that point on, I set out to create my personal brand in order to foster my own growth and support other immigrant women who are going through a process of reinvention. My passion for design and academia inspired me to develop an educational, aesthetic, and functional model for adapting residential and commercial spaces. This is how VR Decordesign was born.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I am a lawyer with a PhD in Educational Management and over 25 years of experience in higher education. I am also the writer and editor of the Legal Journal Unellez Juris. My extensive academic background has enhanced my ability to provide services related to the adaptation and decoration of residential and commercial spaces. Additionally, I dedicate my time to advising non-governmental organizations, helping them strengthen their plans and operational processes through the implementation of strategic planning.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
The migration process for adults and successful people in their countries of origin is undoubtedly a huge challenge. Facing cultural, language and even financial barriers increases the difficulties to be overcome. In this sense, overcoming all these obstacles and then starting a process of resilience and overcoming places us at a point where the recognition of our strength and creativity are fundamental to us. Personally, I feel proud to get ahead with love, patience and dedication, and this is what I want to share with all immigrants in the world. If we can start again and be successful!

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
The trust and love I pour into my work have been crucial to the growth of my brand. Rather than just offering design or consulting services, I prioritize creating an unforgettable experience for my clients. When a product or service is humanized and evokes a feeling of well-being, it becomes nearly impossible to forget; that’s why every detail matters. This exceptional experience fosters word-of-mouth referrals, which are an invaluable form of recommendation.
