We were lucky to catch up with Saint Luna recently and have shared our conversation below.
Saint Luna, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Can you recount a story of an unexpected problem you’ve faced along the way?
One of the most unexpected challenges we’ve faced is staying consistent on social media. Early on, we focused on posting as much as possible, but we realized quality mattered more than quantity. Now, we prioritize content that reflects who we are, focusing on our original music rather than covers or trends.
It can be discouraging when posts don’t perform well, but we don’t let that stop us. At the end of the day, our music is what sets us apart, and staying true to that keeps us motivated no matter how social media responds.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
We’re Saint Luna, and we’re a band from San Diego. We got into this industry during Covid. We wanted to start a band and eventually we played our first show. That’s when our friends told us to take our music seriously. We never expected Saint Luna to grow the way it has, and we’re incredibly grateful for all the support.
What sets us apart from other artists is our live sets, our shows are dynamic, tight, and showcase our musical range. People often tell us our versatility and passion stand out when they see us perform. Above all, we create music that’s authentic to who we are, and we’re proud to connect with fans through every song, show, and piece of work we share. At the end of the day we’re just up there having fun.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect of being an artist is seeing people truly enjoy our music. There’s nothing like watching fans sing along at our shows, feeling their energy as they connect with what we’ve created. It’s incredible to know that something we’ve poured our hearts into can bring joy to others.
Seeing our music resonate with people reminds us why we do this in the first place. Whether it’s someone dancing, smiling, or even just closing their eyes and vibing to a song, those moments make all the hard work worth it. Knowing that our music can make someone’s day a little brighter is, without a doubt, the most fulfilling part of being an artist.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
We grew our social media by doing exactly what we loved: playing music. We are constantly playing and practicing our craft, learning new songs and writing original pieces. We like make videos that feel like the audience is in the room with us, sharing a moment.
Our advice: take risks, be consistent, and stay authentic. Don’t overthink—just post. Focus on content that feels true to you, and your audience will come with time.
