Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Kady Ibrahim Traore. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Kady Ibrahim , appreciate you joining us today. How did you scale up? What were the strategies, tactics, meaningful moments, twists/turns, obstacles, mistakes along the way? The world needs to hear more realistic, actionable stories about this critical part of the business building journey. Tell us your scaling up story – bring us along so we can understand what it was like making the decisions you had, implementing the strategies/tactics etc.

I was an unknown in the world of influence, fashion, beauty, cosmetics, I had so much love to always be perfect! I started using Instagram in 2017 I was unknown on the networks no one knew me! No one knew what I was going to become today! I started creating different styles, I posted photos, videos of myself all the time, I only had 2000 subscribers at the time! I had difficulty making a place for myself, I was not photogenic, I approached influencers I asked them for advice as you did to have one if she took a picture teaches me, but no one had time, I contacted beverage brands, photographers and they begged to collaborate with me, no one calculated me, I took public transport sometimes just for advertisements that brought me anything! But with time and patience I was able to self-form, thank God I had an important place in the world of influence, fashion, beauty!

Kady Ibrahim , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

I came back into the fashion, beauty, influence, cosmetics industry largely thanks to the Kardashians they influenced me a lot in the environment, I also had this great love for cosmetics, beauty, that’s really what pushed me to enter this environment, my makeup line is being manufactured, it will be available on the market, I do events, promoting jewellery, products, clothing, makeup, I am very in the field of travel! Especially what distinguishes me from other influencers is really the love of my profession, my authenticity with my community! I am really proud of the intelligent and courageous woman I have become over the years, I am proud to have realised some of my dreams! I really want my community to know, if I am here today it is really thanks to you, to your love for me, know that life is not rosy, if it is they will always have thorns! I endured a lot physically and mentally before I was there! Because in my country people tend to think that being an influencer is just this prostitute when we make a lot of effort, have made a lot of sacrifice, sometimes we don’t even sleep, we are always stressed for an event! I always face the difficult trials of my life alone! Give us some courage

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?

At some point in my career I was desperate not to be able to balance everything at once,! I went to university after I had to do interviews, photo shoots, or other partnerships I didn’t always have time to sit down with my friends to talk, exchange as teenagers do, when everyone went out or slept I was there on my computer working night and day! Sometimes I missed important events because of my family trips it was really not easy to balance work with daily life because I live it at the same time, some times I can’t find time to share, and again I try to balance

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?

This lesson that I had to hard unlearn is to avoid contact certain people see you on the networks your way of life, your lifestyle, they want to look like you others want your fall! They will approach you unique to destroy me in this industry I had to learn not to trust, always be on his guard!
