Hi :patranya, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Patranya Bhoolsuwan is the Founder & CEO of Patranya Media LLC, a full-service media consulting agency based in Las Vegas Nevada. As one of the first Thai-American TV journalists working in the US, Patranya has always taken pride in telling stories of diverse communities. Today, as a “Storytelling Entrepreneur”, Patranya provides high-level consulting for her clients from various industries and backgrounds on how to amplify their message and communicate their business & life stories in clear, concise and compelling ways.
A 3 time Emmy Award winning journalist, Patranya currently serves as a freelance TV and podcast host and emcees major events & conferences across the country. Patranya is also a sought-after media coach who has worked with everyone from CEOs of Fortune 500 companies to elected public officials and world class medical professionals. A native of Bangkok Thailand, Patranya is dedicated to shining a light on AAPI experiences through her work. She does this by helping people within multicultural communities find their voice and gain media exposure, while promoting the importance of diversity, equity and inclusion in both the corporate and nonprofit sectors.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Like most people, I have had my share of bumps on the road.
The TV news business is highly competitive and I had my share of rejections but I keep pushing forward and not taking no for an answer.
As an entrepreneur, you never know what month to month will look like so you have to hustle on a daily basis and do your best work and always hope for the best.
We’ve been impressed with Patranya Media LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?

As a former journalist, I used my skills as a storyteller to help my current business clients stand out. I basically work as a personal reporter for my clients
I am proud of bringing all of me to the table to stand out from the crowd. A woman, an Asian American, bilingual, former journalist and solo entrepreneur and of course storyteller
