Today we’d like to introduce you to Lisa Nicole

Lisa , we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?

I started out with a vision to showcase my hobbies on social media. I wanted to bond with my kids by sharing our natural hair journey. Next, I learned to enhance my hobbies and skills trial by error. Photography has been my passion starting from age 11. I stepped my game up and went from a point and shoot camera to a DSLR. Best Buy told me about their free basic photography classes after I bought my camera. So I took their classes once a month & I learned how to use my camera. And in addition I took advice from photographer friends Anthony, Enoch @PrescientPhotos & You Tube, photography walks etc to learn the rest.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?

No, it definitely was not smooth. I had to hire a coach Justin JC Collins @jcofthefinest to show me what I was missing on social media. He taught me to be consistent with my social media. And he also taught me that my mistakes would prepare me for success. I also learned to stay in my lane and never compete against anyone else. My biggest competition will always be myself. Another learning lesson was how to deal with brands and not to get taken advantage of. You need to read the deliverables and make sure you charge your worth!

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?

I am a content creator, photographer & interviewer for social media. I specialize in content creation, brand photography, interviews and recently fashion photography, shooting two years at NYFW. I am also a business owner for my company Lisa Nicole Images LLC. I am known for working & creating content for fashion and beauty brands & PR firms on social media. I create a whole look from head to toe and photograph and video it myself. I do my own natural hair and make my own wigs. I am most proud of my recent interviews with Governor Shapiro and Jasmine Crockett. I never saw myself in politics. But, it speaks volumes to where my platform is going. I love being involved in politics and getting people to vote. Recently I was invited to meet President Biden last week, unfortunately I was out of town. I am also proud that I was recently featured in The Philly Inquirer as a Creator who will help Biden win the election. I’m achieving goals that I didn’t even have and that’s an accomplishment in itself. I am always genuine and humble and I do what’s best for me and my kids. I do it because I’m passionate about content creation and it speaks to my spirit. What sets me apart is I don’t quit!

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?

I am most happy when I am creating. I am truly passionate about all things hair, beauty, fashion & photography. I started out as a kid who loved to draw and take art classes all the way through college. I continued on to achieve Bachelor of Science in Fashion Design & Merchandising. I worked in NY Fashion District for a few years as a technical design assistant. And later after having my kids, I started my social media platform. And here we are now featured in another interview! God has been so good!
