Hi Marcel, thanks for joining us today. Can you talk to us about your team building process? How did you recruit and train your team and knowing what you know now would you have done anything differently?

Building my team has been the best experience. All the people that are with me now I’ve built relationships with. I consider them as family more than friends or employees.I definitely don’t think my team is conventional. I wouldn’t change a thing.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

I am originally from Compton,California. Moved to Atlanta,Georgia for new beginning. I had friends in the industry and I just gravitated to music. it became therapy to express myself through my art. I pride myself on humble beginnings working from the bottom and paying dues to get to where I am.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?

I had to learn to take risk. Trust myself to achieve whatever I wanted to conquer. Tuning out the generation of overnight success. I started out as cell tower technician and I used that to build Celfmade. No handouts just hard work and grind!

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?

I’ve built my audience on being authentic. My advice is just be yourself and the right ones will gravitate.
