Today we’d like to introduce you to Xavier Thomas

Hi Xavier, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.

Roughly around 2017,
I was on the verge of graduating college and being one of the first in my family to receive a degree. During that time I was curious about writing a book, and I reached out to a family member that already had knowledge about the publishing industry. I wanted to know the ends and outs. So, he mainly walked me through writing my first book and taught me the challenges of publishing. Now I currently have 5 books on the market.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?

It is never an easy, smooth road. Otherwise, anyone could do it.

Two years after graduation (2017):

March 29, 2019, I had a house fire. I lost majority of everything to the smoke. Game system, clothes and shoes, tv, bed, you name it.
The only thing I had valuable, besides my life, was my car, the clothes I wore that day, and I was able to retain the little money I had saved in a jar from the smoke inside the house.

Thankfully, no lives were lost; However, my spirit was crushed. I didn’t know where I was going to live, and considered moving from Arkansas back home to Chicago.
The next day, after the incident. I told my job, friends & family on social media, just any and all people what happened.
People responded immediately, coming to my aid. Sending gifts, offering their homes for me to stay in. Lucky for me I had renters insurance to help recover what was destroyed. In that moment, I did not realized how huge my village was. Helping me get back on my feet within two days. Just a blessing. All I simply did was open my mouth. Ask for help.
That was the Lord’s people.
I love my village and owe it to them to be great.

A few months later, it’s September. I was working two jobs, still going to school, training for basketball, and had even found a new home.

One night, I was coming home exhausted from my second job. I sat down and started asking myself all types of questions. “Where is life going, what do I want to do, What type of legacy do I want to leave?”
At that moment, I reflected on my life and the experiences I had faced as a young man. Then I called a family member and told them, “I’m ready to share my story and write a book.”

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?

I’m currently in the banking industry and authored several insightful books that delve into the intricacies of spiritual insight and seeking love. I specializing in areas such as financial management, investment strategies, and banking regulations.
