Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiara Holloway

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?

A self taught Interior Designer and painter, Tiara R Holloway is a licensed Interior Designer with a passion for Interior Styling. Tiara has spent the last 13 years learning everything in the Interior Designer industry. At Vivacious Interior By Tiara she offers Full Services Interior design for residential and commercial spaces. Tiara can adapt and translate ideas that are comfortable, captivating and simplicity.

You may know her from her work from taking spaces from Drag to Classy and Sophistication, with her company Vivacious Interior By Tiara LLC.

Tiara Holloway has created a non-profit org for other Interior Designers. The group is called RVA Design Group. Tiara has over 40 members world-wide and still growing.
Tiara Holloway has been noticed by Richmond, VA own newspaper Urban Views Weekly, also HGTV owns Kelli Ellis with Design Camp and R Home Magazine. She has a style which she calls Black Sophisticated. She credits this to her late father Richard Holloway Jr. His style was very polished and classic. He would walk in room full of people with a smile on his face. Tiara goal is to achieve each room with a polished and black sophisticated style.

She holds a degree in Computer Networking from ITT Technical Institute. She has been featured on Value City Furniture Blog and websites and Rejoice Radio 101.3 FM. Tiara Holloway has been featured with R* Home Magazine and had an amazing interview with CBS 6 new to talk about her business in Interview Design, Amazon Store Front and Richard Holloway Collection. Tiara has lead an impressive career as an Interior Designer with her company Vivacious Interior By Tiara. With her dedication and major role as the Senior Designer she has helped others to step out of their comfort zone and start their own businesses. Tiara works on projects of all sizes. After completing projects, Tiara clients tell her she is a close friend an a amazing designer.

A self described polished and visual person Tiara is a designer who is committed to passion and purpose. She has spent 10 years creating a platform for herself an others of the next generations. Tiara loves meeting driven interesting and eclectic people. The experiences is a joy for a designer career.

Tiara has developed a unique perspective for functional, budget friendly and clean polished designs. She says her favorite room’s to decorate are bedrooms, nursery and living room spaces.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?

Primary goal in the next 12 months is to become more consistent in my gift and passion so I can better assist the other designers in their business. Teach myself and learn from others so I may bring it back to other business owners. A full service design is perfect for the family who is looking for a turn key experience. We manage every aspects of designing your home from conception through procurement to installation. We work directly with our trades which includes wallpaper installation, window treatment, custom cabinetry and more so you don’t have to. The end results is your home or space you can walk into that you can enjoy without the stress.

We’ve been impressed with Vivacious Interior by Tiara , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?

I’m the face, the eyes, the ears and the voice of Vivacious Interior by Tiara. I will evaluate the designs and lifestyle of living space for all my clients. My passion turned into my purpose, and I love it all!
I was born in Richmond, Va. No one in my family does Interior Design or decorating homes or businesses. It’s a gift from God to have this vision. Im very Thankful. I’m a mother to one little boy who is 9 years old. He is my motivation and keeps me going. He has his own opinion about my work. But we keep that to a minimum.

I’ve always been into decorating ever since I was younger. I would keep my room clean and try to change it up every month. It would consist of moving furniture in my room or painting my walls or painting the closet to putting up wallpaper. I would decorate my walls with new pictures so my room would look new every month. Which I would get in trouble for. Oh well!

Has this been easy? No. Absolutely Not! Is it easy to handle home as a single mom, full time job, being a mother 24/7, a daughter or sister? Not at all. But do I give up? Absolutely not! I love my passion. I love Interior Designing! I have Faith my business will take me far and it also has a purpose to help others. I take time for myself and continue to work hard for what I want in life. It doesn’t happen overnight, but it will happen as long as you keep pushing. iPUSH (I Pray Until Something Happen)

Once I purchased my home and started decorating it I started posting my work Instagram. A young lady from HGTV and Design Camp by the name of Kelli Ellis found me. Her team offered me a trip to Design Camp in New York, which later that year I attended the one in North Carolina. I met so many celebrity designers and networked with many. It changed my life for the best. A year later I became a buyer with thousands of furniture designers. I can see the furniture before it hits the stores.

What’s next?

My goals which are coming sooner than later I will continue to build my brand and market myself. I want to open the platform for other women and men how to build their brand and Network with others. Next step is Vivacious Interior By Tiara will be your one stop shop for your Design styling, Interior Decor and plus Furniture shopping for custom furniture.
