We recently connected with Hayli Howard and have shared our conversation below.
Hayli , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?
I think in a world where it is so easy to open our phones and compare to the next person, I really wanted to create an environment where we are encouraging and pushing each other to level up but in a healthy manner. ADWH is an environment of patience and skill technique while also being encouraging and uplifting. I want you to leave class, lessons or intensives feeling seen and loved.

Hayli , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I first started teaching gymnastics when I was 15/16 years old and always knew I wanted to work with kids. I danced and tumbled myself and love the athleticism of AcroDance! I truly pride myself of building what I know my students are needing the most of and really leaning in and listening to what they are saying. I am most proud of the students both past and present and their work ethic and drive to always learn something new! I also have the best assistants and jr assistants!

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
I believe that ADWH is really known for injury prevention and skill development as a priority. We care about the overall student. When you come in and train with myself or my assistants our goal isn’t to just get a new trick once, our goal is to be able to maintain that new skill and gain stamina and muscle to get the next skill. We are always growing and training sessions will look different but ADWH will always focus on the whole athlete.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
I have been knocked down in almost every path. Not everyone is going to believe in you and not every student is going to be loyal to you as a coach. Learning to hear it and not absorb it has been something I have been working on recently. I have been compared and told some hard things over the years and knowing what I have to offer and the success that my current and past students have and do have is my driving force.
