We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Leann Herron a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Leann, thanks for joining us today. So, naming is such a challenge. How did you come up with the name of your brand?
I opened my business on June 1, 2022, after resigning from my job/career of 13 years in the legal field in 2020. In 2020, I suffered from job burnout. I was overwhelmed by PTSD triggers/trauma from 20 years prior that was reactivated during my professional role in the legal field, toxic bosses, excessive work hours, as well as being forced to work in an office during the COVID pandemic. I experienced, what I labeled as “Trauma Soup”, brain fog, memory loss, difficulty sleeping, chronic illness, imposter syndrome, inability to concentrate, anxiety, fear, depression, and panic, I thought I had lost my resilience, I wasn’t bouncing back like I had always been able to. I spent 2021 working on my health and mental health. I began treatment with a therapist, developed a daily meditation practice and other mindfulness-based stress reduction exercises, and worked with alternative medicine practitioners. I uncovered the transformative power of mindset shifts, self-care practices, and intentional living, greatly enhancing my overall well-being.
I found my lost resilience which was clouded by severe trauma symptoms. After my symptoms improved, I enrolled in school to obtain a life and health coach certification to help others experiencing similar symptoms learn tools and techniques to recover from and prevent burnout. I named my business Finding Resilience with Leann.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I’m Leann Herron, and I empower individuals to conquer stress, overcome burnout, and navigate life’s challenges by transforming their habits into sustainable, automatic routines, utilizing a holistic approach that nurtures the mind, body, and spirit.
I am a 50+-year-old professional woman who reinvented herself during the COVID-19 Pandemic, after experiencing job burnout and overwhelm which reactivated untreated PTSD symptoms during my professional role in the legal field. I obtained my Life Coach and Health Coach certifications in 2022 from the Health Coach Institute (HCI), a curriculum based on behavioral psychology, neuroscience, intuitive listening, habit change, and healthy lifestyle design. HCI is accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF), and fully approved by the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT), and became an entrepreneur.
As a Certified Life and Holistic Health Coach, I specialize in guiding individuals through life’s toughest transitions – turning stress, burnout, and uncertainty into clarity, balance, and vitality. My coaching focuses on the benefits of habit change, including my five-step transformational process. Habit change coaching incorporates evidence-based coaching principles such as neurolinguistic programming, positive psychology, the science of habit change, and mindfulness practices. It helped me see the patterns, the connections, the underlying causes that were contributing to the challenges I was facing so that I could address the root causes rather than just treating the symptoms.
With a mission to help individuals transform life’s challenges into opportunities for growth, and empowerment, I bring a wealth of experience in holistic health and personal development to my coaching practice.
I am also a Kink-Aware Professional, with an informed, respectful understanding of kink-related topics, I provide a safe, non-judgmental space for open, honest conversations that honor each client’s unique identity and experiences.

If you have multiple revenue streams in your business, would you mind opening up about what those streams are and how they fit together?
My business has multiple passive income revenue streams. I offer numerous digital products, mini-courses, two podcasts, and multiple affiliate marketing partnerships, focused on enhancing daily lives through motivation, inspiration, and implementation. I also participate in virtual summits that offer growth opportunities (email list), digital product sales, and coaching services.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
As a lifetime people pleaser, I had to learn to set boundaries to protect and enhance my business and interventions to prevent me from experiencing burnout causing more serious physical and mental health issues. Having daily healthy routines helps me be proactive versus reactive to daily stressors.
