If I were to start back over, I would’ve focused more on marketing my drone portfolio towards large commercial businesses and organizations that were not yet utilizing drones in their marketing budgets. I began flying recreationally and mostly flew my drone to film my travels, then small businesses once certified but they don’t always have the budget for drone marketing, don’t see the need for it or simply no longer exist as a businesses to use my services. I would say one of the biggest lessons I learned when launching my business was building enough confidence in yourself to try “doing it yourself” first approach and then figuring out what the pain points are. Once you figure out what would make a process in your business better or more efficient, then utilize your capital. Make mistakes first.
