We recently connected with Kendall Haught and have shared our conversation below.
Kendall , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What do you think it takes to be successful?
To me, success is subjective. For some, it’s a million dollars. For others, it’s a trophy. But here’s the thing—success isn’t physical. It’s a concept, a state of mind. Every small success is just as meaningful as the big ones because success is a journey, not a destination.
We’ve been conditioned to think success is only about the material: the car, the house, the followers. But I’ve learned that even some of the most outwardly “successful” people in the world struggle with deep emotional setbacks or toxic mindsets. They’ve worked their whole lives chasing a word—success—only to realize that when they reach it, it doesn’t make sense. They can’t accept it because their internal world was never aligned with what they were pursuing externally.
For me, success is about connection, impact, and fulfillment. It’s about being in alignment with your purpose. Sure, financial success and physical milestones can be great, but they’re fleeting. True success is a state, not a being. It’s how you feel when you know you’re living your truth, helping others, and creating something meaningful.
How I developed this view:
Through coaching and intuitively guiding people for years, I’ve had the privilege of speaking with individuals from all walks of life. These conversations taught me that we can’t truly understand success, or any concept, until we’ve seen it from multiple perspectives. I wouldn’t claim to have the full perspective, but my career has certainly given me a much bigger picture than the one I was initially sold.
Truthfully, it was a hard pill to swallow when I realized the million dollars I once sought was just paper. It didn’t magically promise happiness. Yes, financial stability can make life physically easier, but it doesn’t guarantee fulfillment. The way we’re conditioned from birth is to work constantly, to grind so hard that we lose touch with ourselves.
I’ve seen it over and over: people achieve success and money after years of hard work, but in gaining freedom, they gain time to think. And that’s often when feelings of loneliness emerge. All those years of grinding, of being disconnected from themselves, left them unprepared to sit with their own thoughts. Without internal worth or self-connection, that solitude can feel unbearable. They confront their true selves for the first time, and it can be incredibly unsettling.
For me, these experiences reshaped how I see success. It’s not about the external markers society celebrates but about building a relationship with yourself along the way. Without that, no amount of money, followers, or recognition will fill the void.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Hi, I’m Kendall Haught. I’m a psychic, medium, and spiritual motivational content creator who has dedicated my life to helping people connect with their intuition, embrace their spiritual gifts, and live more aligned lives. My journey into this field wasn’t traditional—it was a path of self-discovery, intuition, and trusting my inner guidance. I didn’t grow up knowing I’d one day build a community of over 1.2 million people on TikTok, but I always had a deep sense of connection to something greater.
I officially stepped into this work years ago when I realized that my ability to sense energy, receive intuitive downloads, and connect with the spirit world could help others. What started as private readings and small insights shared with close friends has grown into a thriving platform where I create content, offer readings, and share spiritual tools and resources to empower others.
My work spans multiple areas:
• Private Readings: I work one-on-one with clients, using my psychic and mediumship abilities to provide clarity, guidance, and connection.
• Content Creation: I share free collective readings, motivational psychic guidance, and manifestation tips on TikTok and Instagram (@kendallhaught). My goal is to inspire and provide value, even to those who may never book a private session.
• Creative Products: My book, Vision 1, is a combination of coloring, journaling, and manifestation exercises with tarot cards that readers can cut out and use.
The people who come to me are often feeling lost, disconnected, or unsure of their next steps. Some are navigating grief and seeking closure. Others are on the verge of spiritual awakening and need guidance. Through my readings, mentorship, and content, I provide clarity, validation, and practical tools to help them realign with their purpose and intuition.
One of the biggest shifts I help people make is realizing their own power. Many people think they need someone else to solve their problems, but my goal is to remind them that they’ve always had the answers within themselves—they just need the right tools and perspective to access them.
I think what sets me apart is my approachability and authenticity. I’m not interested in presenting myself as someone “above” or “beyond” anyone else—I’m here as a guide, a mentor, and someone who’s walked the path of self-doubt and spiritual awakening, just like my clients. I also understand that spirituality can feel overwhelming or even intimidating at first, so I break it down into accessible, relatable steps that resonate with everyday life.
Another thing that sets me apart is the connection I’ve built with my audience. I genuinely care about the people I work with, whether they’re clients or followers. My work is deeply personal to me because it’s rooted in my own life experiences, from overcoming financial struggles to understanding the balance between external and internal success.
What I’m most proud of is the impact I’ve made on people’s lives. Hearing from someone who found healing or direction because of my readings, a video, or even my book is the most fulfilling part of what I do. Those moments remind me why I started and keep me inspired to continue sharing my gifts.
I’m also incredibly proud of the community I’ve built online. Over a million people have joined me on this journey, and the love, support, and energy they bring to my content is something I’m endlessly grateful for.
I want people to know that my work is about empowerment. Whether you’re connecting with me through a reading, a video, or my book, my goal is to guide you back to your own inner knowing. My brand is about making spirituality accessible and helping people see that they’re not alone on their journey.
Ultimately, I want my work to be a source of light, healing, and encouragement for anyone who comes across it. Whether you’re navigating grief, chasing a dream, or simply trying to understand yourself better, I want you to feel seen, supported, and capable of achieving the life you deserve.
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
When I started on social media, I didn’t set out to build a massive following—I just wanted to share my truth. I posted my first TikTok during a time when I was struggling financially and emotionally, and I decided to let my intuition guide me. At first, it was just small readings and spiritual insights, but as I continued, I noticed that people connected deeply with my messages.
The turning point came when I started posting collective readings. One video, in particular, went viral—a prediction for the collective that resonated with so many people. That’s when I realized the power of being authentic and vulnerable online. My audience grew quickly because I wasn’t just creating content—I was creating connection. Every video, every reading, every post came from my heart, and people could feel that.
It wasn’t all smooth sailing, though. There were moments of self-doubt, times when videos didn’t perform well, and the occasional negativity from others. But I reminded myself why I started: to help people. Staying consistent and keeping my focus on serving others is what kept me going. Over time, I built a community of over 1.2 million people who share the same desire for growth, healing, and spiritual connection.
Advice for Those Just Starting to Build Their Social Media Presence
1. Be Authentic
The most important thing is to show up as you. People don’t connect with perfection—they connect with authenticity. Share your story, your truth, and your unique perspective. It doesn’t matter if you think your niche is oversaturated; no one else can bring your voice and your energy.
2. Be Consistent
You don’t have to post every day, but you do need to show up regularly. Consistency builds trust with your audience and helps you refine your voice over time. Even when it feels like no one is watching, keep going. The right people will find you when you’re true to your purpose.
3. Engage with Your Audience
Your followers are real people, and they want to feel seen and valued. Respond to comments, ask questions, and create content that speaks directly to their needs. Building an audience isn’t about numbers—it’s about creating a community.
4. Don’t Be Afraid to Evolve
Your content will grow as you do. When I started, I wasn’t sure what my niche would look like, but I followed my intuition and let it evolve naturally. Don’t box yourself in—let your content reflect your journey.
5. Focus on Impact, Not Numbers
It’s easy to get caught up in views, likes, and followers, but the numbers don’t define your value. If your work resonates with even one person, you’re already making a difference. Focus on impact, and the growth will follow.
Building my audience wasn’t just about strategy—it was about staying aligned with my purpose and showing up with intention. If you’re starting out, trust yourself and your message. The people who need you will find you, as long as you stay true to your vision.
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
My reputation in the spiritual and motivational space has been built on three key pillars: authenticity, honesty, and connecting with other creators.
1. Authenticity
From day one, I’ve committed to showing up as my most authentic self. In this space, people are looking for someone they can trust, someone who isn’t afraid to be vulnerable. I’ve learned along the way, my authenticity creates a genuine connection with my audience.I think people resonate with that because it reminds them they can do the same—it gives them permission to embrace their own imperfect journey.
2. Honesty
Honesty goes hand-in-hand with authenticity. I don’t sugarcoat messages or try to tell people what they want to hear. Whether it’s in a private reading, a collective message, or a piece of content, I aim to deliver truth with compassion. My audience trusts me because they know I’m always coming from a place of integrity.
3. Connecting with Other Creators
Another huge part of building my reputation has been connecting with other creators in my field. Collaboration isn’t just about growing your audience; it’s about learning from others and sharing ideas. I’ve had the privilege of working with some amazing creators, like Seth Browder (@mediumsethbrowder), whose energy and perspective inspire me.
Building relationships with other creators has expanded my understanding of the spiritual space and allowed me to bring fresh ideas and insights to my audience. It also reinforces the idea that no one has to do this alone—there’s so much power in community.
