Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Georgette Ayaz. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Georgette, appreciate you joining us today. So, one thing many business owners consider is donating a percentage of sales or profits to an organization or cause. We’d love to hear your thoughts and the story behind how and why you chose the cause or organization you donate to.
Yes, I donate a percentage of my sales to animal charities that focus on helping homeless, abused, or injured animals. The decision to support this cause stems from my deep compassion for animals and my desire to see them live healthy, safe, and loved lives.
Animals suffering around the world—whether due to neglect, abuse, or lack of resources—breaks my heart. From stray dogs wandering without shelter to injured wildlife unable to fend for themselves, every animal deserves a second chance. By contributing to organizations that provide food, medical care, and safe homes, I feel like I’m helping make the world a better place, one paw at a time.
I chose animal charities because animals cannot advocate for themselves; they rely on us to give them a voice and help them heal. Supporting these organizations aligns with my values and reminds me that even small actions can create meaningful change.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Hi, I’m Georgette, the founder of Gorgezze, a unique brand that combines music, fashion, and wellness to help people achieve their best glow—inside and out. My journey started with a love for creativity and connection. I’ve always been passionate about expressing myself through music as a DJ, empowering others through wellness, and embracing personal style as a form of confidence and self-care. These passions naturally evolved into building a brand where all these elements come together.
I got into this industry by following my heart and the things that inspire me most: the transformative power of music, the individuality of fashion, and the importance of nurturing your well-being. As a Pepperdine psychology graduate, I also bring a mindset-driven approach to everything I create, infusing positivity and empowerment into my work.
What We Offer
At Gorgezze, we provide:
• Music: Curated DJ sets that inspire positivity, release stress, and energize your soul, available on platforms like SoundCloud. My sets blend techno, house, and uplifting vibes that help listeners feel good and connect with the moment.
• Fashion: A curated collection of stylish, empowering pieces available on platforms like Poshmark and my Shopify store, Gorgezze.com. Our fashion offerings reflect bold confidence and individuality while remaining approachable.
• Wellness Products and Services: eBooks, courses, and tools that help people cultivate a positive mindset, improve their well-being, and build confidence. Our INNER BLOOM Academy is an exciting upcoming project that combines mindset, spirituality, women empowerment, digital marketing, and master resell rights (MRR).

What I’m Most Proud Of
I’m most proud of the impact my work has on others. Whether it’s someone telling me how my music helped them through a tough day, a client finding confidence in their style, or someone using my wellness tools to turn their life around, every success story reminds me why I started this journey.

Thank you for being part of this journey!

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
Starting my brand, Gorgezze, wasn’t just about following my passions—it was about navigating challenges and staying committed to my vision, even when the road was uncertain. One moment that truly tested my resilience came early in my journey when I was trying to balance launching my business, completing my studies, and navigating personal setbacks all at once.
At the time, I was working tirelessly to bring my ideas to life, from crafting my DJ sets to curating fashion pieces and conceptualizing wellness products. But behind the scenes, I faced a mix of self-doubt and external pressures. A major setback hit when an initial launch didn’t perform as expected. Sales were slow, and I felt like I had poured so much into something that wasn’t resonating the way I’d hoped.
It was tempting to feel defeated and question if I was on the right path. But instead of giving up, I chose to reevaluate and adapt. I revisited my purpose—why I started in the first place—and sought feedback from people I trusted. I realized that while my vision was strong, my messaging needed refinement to better connect with my audience.
I used this moment of failure as fuel to pivot and push forward. I invested time in learning more about digital marketing, refined my branding, and reached out to my community for collaboration opportunities. Slowly but surely, things began to shift. My DJ sets gained traction on SoundCloud, customers resonated with the curated fashion pieces, and my wellness offerings started inspiring others.
Looking back, I’m proud that I didn’t let that early setback define me. Instead, I embraced the challenge, trusted my creativity, and kept moving forward. It taught me that resilience isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about staying true to your purpose, being adaptable, and seeing obstacles as opportunities to grow.
This experience not only shaped my journey but also reaffirmed my belief that every challenge holds the potential for transformation. Today, when I face hurdles, I remember this story and the power of perseverance.

Have you ever had to pivot?
One of the most defining moments in my journey was when I realized that my initial vision for Gorgezze—a brand centered on music, fashion, and wellness—needed to evolve to truly resonate with my audience. Initially, I poured my heart into creating DJ sets and curating fashion items, expecting my passion alone would attract the right audience. However, despite my efforts, I wasn’t seeing the engagement or results I had hoped for.
It was a tough realization, especially since I had invested so much time and energy. But instead of feeling defeated, I chose to pivot and take a deeper look at what my audience truly needed. I started asking questions: What problems can I help solve? What makes my brand different? How can I bring more value to others?
That’s when I decided to expand Gorgezze into a platform that not only offered music and fashion but also focused on empowerment and personal growth. I launched wellness eBooks, started developing INNER BLOOM Academy, and incorporated my psychology background to provide resources for women looking to grow personally and professionally.
This pivot wasn’t just about adding new services—it was about aligning my brand with my purpose: helping others shine inside and out. By listening to my audience and staying open to change, I was able to create something far more meaningful and impactful.
The pivot taught me an invaluable lesson: success isn’t about sticking rigidly to your original plan—it’s about staying flexible and finding new ways to serve your mission. Today, Gorgezze is thriving as a multifaceted brand, and I’m so grateful for the challenges that pushed me to rethink and grow.
