Alright, Simone thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What do you think matters most in terms of achieving success?

I think it takes faith , consistency, and hard work to be successful. Faith is something you have to walk in . It’s something that lives within you and will keep your dreams and hopes alive ! It means having a belief system that helps you to keep dreaming and believing in yourself. Consistency is working at something and not giving up on that goal or dream . Consistency is one of the main keys to becoming successful. Hard work is the effort and passion you put into whatever it is your doing and giving it your all ! I believe all these factors are major keys to success.

Simone , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

I’m a music artist , business owner , and a licensed esthetician, and a professional dancer ! I guess you can say I’m a lot of things lol . I got into the music industry while in high school . I always knew I had a special gift to sing but it took some motivation to start working on my craft ! I got a lot of compliments and encouragement from others which made me go after the gift that God blessed me with . I own a hair business called “Hair Of Dallas” . I started this hair business in high school around the age of 17 years old . I’ve been working at it ever since . I offer hair extensions, wigs , closures , clips ins , tape ins . You name it and I can provide it! This business is my everything and I am continuing to develop and grow it till this day .
With all the gifts and talents God has blessed me with its taken a lot of self realization, humbling , growth , and discipline to understand what I know now . You really have to go through some things to really understand how important little things are in business and in life period . You have to be so consistent in what you do . You must make many connections. I learned having a plan and sticking to it helps you to go in the right direction.

Most importantly you have to be very discipline with your assets . Learning the ins and outs of business is very important as well . It’s definitely a process and a difficult journey being a entrepreneur! I’m still learning till this day . You have to use the knowledge you’ gain and put it to work

My brand is unique because it’s what I want it to be . It’s not a replica of another brand / business . It’s authentically who I am as a person . I’m vibrant, unique , and creative . I don’t like to do the norm and I believe that what sets me apart in my business .

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?

I built my audience through creating tons of content ! Content really helped push my brand . Sometimes I go places and tell people about my business and I’m surprised they’ve already heard about it through social media . My advice is to post consistently. If you can post every day do it ! Download creative apps to help you make content . Make sure everything looks professional . Be authentic.

There’s been many times where business has been slow . I had to realize that this is what comes with growing a small business . Anytime I’m not making sales I go out and network even more . I push even harder to get business going again. . Creating new ideas to gain more clientele is key .
