We recently connected with Yeimi Antonini and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Yeimi, thanks for joining us today. Alright – so having the idea is one thing, but going from idea to execution is where countless people drop the ball. Can you talk to us about your journey from idea to execution?
Starting my own business has always been in the back of my mind for a while and so it took a big step to actually commit. I’ve been an artist and creative professional for years, with a background in construction project management, so blending those worlds into something uniquely mine felt natural. The first major step was accepting that I was ready to put in the time, effort, and passion to build something from scratch. Once I embraced that, I took care of the essentials, like setting up my LLC and EIN, which made everything feel official.
After that, it was about putting myself out there and building my brand’s presence. I organized a launch party to showcase my work and introduce Pixel and Palette Studios to the community. It was a way to celebrate this milestone and to set the foundation for what I want this studio to be: a creative space for unique, quality designs and projects. It’s been incredibly rewarding, and I’m excited to see how Pixel and Palette will grow from here.
Yeimi, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Hi I’m Yeimi! (it’s pronounced YAY-ME!) I’m a creative artist with roots in construction project management, which isn’t the usual path to where I am now, but it’s actually been the perfect foundation. My background in project management means I approach every creative project with structure, attention to detail, and a strong respect for timelines—all while keeping that artistic flow intact.
Pixel and Palette Studios is a creative service company where I provide everything from custom art, interior design, and product photography to marketing content creation, like videography, 3D rendering, and animation. I love working with clients who are looking for a fresh, personalized touch for their brand or home. My goal is to bring their vision to life while making the process collaborative and enjoyable. When it comes to styling home interiors, I focus on creating spaces that feel like a true reflection of the individual, and with business clients, I emphasize branding that feels authentic and dynamic.
What really sets Pixel and Palette apart is that I don’t just see each project as “work”; I see it as a part of my craft. I blend practical skills from my management days with a deep love for creativity, which I think is a rare combo in the creative world. It’s important to me that my clients feel they’re getting both artistry and reliable delivery. I want them to feel taken care of and inspired. I’m most proud of starting Pixel and Palette and I am excited for all the growth potential. It’s been incredibly fulfilling to see clients’ reactions when they see their ideas brought to life. One of the main things I want people to know is that Pixel and Palette Studios is a space for creativity without boundaries, where we focus on not only the product but also the experience and relationship with the client. I’m here to create, to elevate, and to celebrate those unique visions, whatever they may be.
How did you build your audience on social media?
Building my social media audience has been a journey of authenticity and connection. From the start, I aimed to share more than just a curated image; I wanted to bring people into my world, showing both the creative process and the real-life behind it. I found that by opening up about my work, passions, and even my struggles, people connected on a deeper level. It’s been inspiring to have women reach out, whether it’s for career advice or just to say that my journey has impacted them in some way.
For anyone just starting, my biggest advice is: don’t let perfectionism hold you back! The magic happens when you show up as you are, imperfections and all. Make the reel, share the post, and remember that growth comes from taking those little steps consistently. Keep engaging with the community around you, and don’t be afraid to be yourself—that’s what really resonates.
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect of being an artist, for me, is being able to help people bring beauty and intention into their lives in ways that are deeply personal. Whether I’m working with a business or an individual, it’s all about creating something that resonates with who they are. For businesses, I take the time to understand their brand, story, and goals so that I can craft branding and visuals that truly reflect their identity. For homeowners, it’s about designing a space that feels like “home” through intentional choices in furnishings, colors, and style that connect with their lifestyle.
To me, life itself is an art, and it’s a joy to be able to help people realize and celebrate their own unique vision. Seeing them light up when they see the final results—that’s the most fulfilling part. It feels like I’m doing more than just “making things look nice”; I’m helping them feel seen and allowing their vision to shine through.
