One of the most important things we think the media can do is connect small business owners and creatives across industries and markets to give them an opportunity to learn form each other. The insights on trends in particular can be transformative if our communities were better connected and so we’ve tried to create a space where folks can share the trends they are seeing and read about trends other sharp entrepreneurs are seeing.

As a custom designer, the biggest tread right now is turning cooperate wear into street wear. Rocking ties and suits with sneakers. Or, loafers with jeans and oversized tees. Personally I love it. It’s creating a fly look for office wear! As far as my clothing line, oversized streetwear is trendy. The comfy clothes; like sweats, hoodies, and the like. But, up the size for that oversized look. It’s like MySpace days ( I might be showing my age) when everyone wore big clothes! It’s actually better than the tight look in my opinion. The only concern is, sometimes people tend to overdo things. It doesn’t even make the look unique anymore. I think it’s important to view the trends but you must find a way to make it your own in order to stand out. No one wants to stand out anymore. Everyone wants to look like triplets. Got to try another lane some time. I get it, it’s popular. But show other people how you can rock the gear YOUR way. Read more>>

What are some of the biggest trends you are seeing in your industry and what do you think about this trend? As an electrical inspector/electrician, I have seen firsthand the profound advantages and incredible advancements that technology can bring. The advancing of technology, while undeniably beneficial, presents us with the challenge of understanding potential electrical risks and taking steps to mitigate risk. The world has been forever changed by the rapid progress of technology, which occurs through the advancing of technology in sciences and innovation. As technology advances, it becomes more sought after, more wanted, more powerful, and more efficient, resulting in breakthroughs that transform how we live, work, and interact within our communities. We’re standing on the brink of an AI revolution in social media. AI is no longer just a tool or whispers of the future – it’s reshaping the way content is created, consumed, and even trusted. While AI has the power to replicate and amplify content at unprecedented speeds, it lacks one thing that every audience craves: authenticity. The rise of artificial intelligence is forcing us to ask a crucial question; what makes us irreplaceable in a world where machines can mimic creativity? This, I believe, is where we’re heading – a new era of social media where the value of personal branding and human creativity will skyrocket. Read more>>

One of the biggest trends in interior design right now is the focus on sustainability and eco-conscious materials. Homeowners are gravitating toward natural, durable elements like reclaimed wood, recycled glass, and organic fabrics. Another trend is the rise of bold, expressive spaces featuring statement pieces, rich colors, and unique textures. We’re also seeing a blend of styles, like traditional design paired with modern touches, creating timeless yet fresh interiors. Lastly, multifunctional spaces have become a priority, with design solutions that accommodate work, relaxation, and entertaining within the same home. Read more>>

Red is a striking color that can make a bold statement. The idea of incorporating more red into trends for 2025 is an interesting concept. Red eyebrows, in particular, would be a very daring choice. It would be fascinating to see how such a trend might evolve and be embraced. Those who dare to wear red brows would certainly turn heads. The combination of red and pink is surprisingly striking. This color pairing feels fresh and unexpected. Imagine a soft pink eyeshadow blended delicately across the eyelid. Then, a bold red lip, perfectly applied, adds a touch of drama. This playful combination is both feminine and powerful. It’s a wonderful way to embrace color in a sophisticated way. I believe that we are into our blush era and the girlys will be very creative with how they apply the product. With hair, I see the trend of going darker and for the blondes a more natural root blended into a more honey blonde. The butterfly cut is going to be a staple for the layer lovers and for my short hair girlys I believe blunt bobs will be the new rave. Read more>>

In the past several years, or really since the age of streaming began, a growing trend in key art design has been visual reduction. Specifically, the ability to “read” a poster at a small thumbnail size. Gone are the days of intricately designed movie posters. The growing trend has been talent and concept front and center with little-to-no other clutter. While this can provide solutions to marketing problems, it can also restrict potentially better creative outcomes. Really what is happening is the technology (the UI/UX) is creating excessive restrictions for designers. Ultimately this could lead to further homogenization of key art design. Read more>>

One of the most transformative trends in digital marketing today is the integration of AI and machine learning tools into the fabric of our work. These technologies are redefining how campaigns are planned, executed, and optimized. While they bring incredible productivity and efficiency, they also introduce a critical challenge: ensuring authenticity in storytelling while meeting performance-driven goals. At Digital By Creatives, we’ve seen this play out firsthand. This year, a client in the mobile space approached us with a unique problem—they wanted to humanize their brand but felt stuck in a cycle of clickbait content that was underwhelming in engagement and diluting their voice. The rise of AI tools made it tempting for them to automate everything, from social media posts to ad copy. Instead, we proposed a hybrid approach: leveraging AI for insights and rapid testing, but anchoring the campaign in authentic storytelling. Read more>>

The biggest trend to hit the copywriting industry is—you guessed it—AI. The shift AI has created within the copywriting industry is vast. You’ll see the early adopters who were offering AI-assisted writing prompts right away, to anti-AI writers concerned about the future of creative services and intellectual property rights. Where do I stand? I believe that humans, with the motivation and skill, always write better than AI. When consumers read copy that’s heavily written or edited by AI, it just feels off. There’s an unconscious flatness, lacking the variation and heart that naturally comes with human writing. Read more>>
