Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Marie Fiorin. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Marie, thanks for joining us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
Leni James was born from a deeply personal journey of combining my love for fine jewelry with the transformative power of manifestation. Jewelry has always held symbolic meaning—whether passed down through generations or given as a token of love. I wanted to elevate this symbolism, creating pieces that serve as more than adornments. They are tools for intention-setting, talismans designed to harness the Universe’s energy to support people in manifesting their desires and raising their vibrations.
This mission is meaningful to me because I’ve experienced firsthand how powerful manifestation can be when paired with something tangible. As a Certified Law of Attraction coach and someone who has navigated the highs and lows of life, I know how easy it is to lose sight of our goals. Leni James pieces are reminders to stay aligned, resilient, and focused on our dreams. Each creation is designed to carry intention and serve as a constant companion on the journey toward self-realization and fulfillment.
In essence, Leni James isn’t just a jewelry brand—it’s a bridge between luxury and mindfulness, merging beauty with purpose. Because at the end of the day, it’s all about energy.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I’m Marie Fiorin, the founder of Leni James, a jewelry brand that merges luxury and spirituality to create meaningful, intention-driven pieces. My journey into the fine jewelry industry has been anything but conventional. With a background in fashion styling, media, and extensive experience managing fine jewelry stores, I’ve spent years surrounded by exquisite craftsmanship and timeless designs. Yet, I always felt there was an untapped potential in this space—something deeper than aesthetics.
My passion for manifestation and the Law of Attraction has played a significant role in my personal and professional life. As a Certified Law of Attraction coach, writer, and creator of ‘The Manifesting Journal’ series, I’ve witnessed the profound impact that intention-setting and mindfulness can have on people’s lives, including my own. I realized that jewelry, often a symbol of milestones and emotions, could be transformed into a powerful tool for manifestation—a tangible reminder of our intentions and dreams.
At Leni James, we provide fine jewelry pieces that go beyond adornment. Each design is crafted to serve as a talisman, helping wearers channel their intentions and raise their vibrations. Our collection includes everything from tennis necklaces and bracelets to carefully curated charms. What sets us apart is our commitment to infusing each piece with meaning, offering not just luxury but a pathway to personal growth and self-realization.
One of the main problems we solve for our clients is helping them stay aligned with their goals and intentions. In a world full of distractions, it’s easy to lose focus. Leni James pieces act as physical reminders of their dreams and aspirations, grounding them in their journey toward manifesting the life they desire.
I’m incredibly proud of the positive impact our brand has already made. Every message from a client who feels more empowered or inspired because of our jewelry fuels my passion. The main thing I want potential clients and followers to know is that Leni James isn’t just about jewelry—it’s about energy and transformation. Our pieces are designed to be companions on your journey, reflecting not just who you are, but who you’re becoming.
Ultimately, my goal is to help people see that they are powerful creators of their reality. Leni James is here to remind them of that power, beautifully and meaningfully.

We’d love to hear your thoughts about selling platforms like Amazon/Etsy vs selling on your own site.
At Leni James, we sell through our own website, lenijames.com, This choice was intentional because I wanted full control over the brand experience and customer journey. Owning our site allows us to create a seamless, personalized experience that reflects Leni James’ mission of merging luxury with mindfulness. It also gives us the freedom to design our store in a way that embodies the brand’s identity and values.
The main pros of selling on our own website include:
Brand Control: we can customize every aspect of the shopping experience, from visuals to messaging, ensuring it aligns perfectly with the Leni James aesthetic and mission.
Direct Customer Connection: selling through our site allows us to build a direct relationship with our customers, fostering a community of like-minded individuals who resonate with our mission of manifestation and intention-setting.
The cons are primarily related to visibility and traffic. Unlike platforms like Etsy or Amazon, which come with built-in audiences, selling through our site requires more effort in marketing and driving traffic. However, I see this as an opportunity to connect more authentically with my audience and share the deeper story behind each piece. Given our price point and possibility for custom and special orders, having our own website is the better suited option to allow for a better direct consumer experience.
For my books, I’ve chosen to sell exclusively on Amazon. This platform offers unparalleled reach and accessibility, making it easier for readers around the world to discover ‘The Manifesting Journal’ series. The main advantage is the global exposure Amazon provides, along with their efficient fulfillment and distribution services. The downside is less control over the customer experience compared to selling directly.
Together, these choices reflect my commitment to delivering quality, meaning, and connection—whether through a piece of jewelry or the written word.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
One of the most important lessons I had to unlearn is perfectionism. For a long time, I believed that everything I created had to be flawless before I shared it with the world. In theory, this might seem like a good quality, but in reality, it became a barrier. Perfectionism slowed me down, made me second-guess my ideas, and sometimes even prevented me from releasing my work at all.
The backstory is deeply tied to my journey as a creative and an entrepreneur. When I first started Leni James and my writing projects, I would pour countless hours into refining every tiny detail. I wanted each piece of jewelry, every journal, to be absolutely perfect. But I realized that this mindset was not only exhausting but also counterproductive. It kept me trapped in a cycle of endless tweaking, delaying my progress and holding back my vision.
What I’ve learned is that true growth and connection come from putting your work out there – annd putting yourself out there, imperfections and all. The process of creating and sharing is what allows you to learn, evolve, and make an impact. Perfection is an illusion—what truly matters is authenticity and intention. Now, I focus on delivering high quality and true meaning, embracing the imperfections as part of the journey.
This shift has been liberating. It’s allowed me to trust the process, stay aligned with my mission, and most importantly, share my creations with the world without fear of judgment. I believe this lesson is something many of us can relate to, especially those who pour their heart into their work. Progress, not perfection, is the key.
