We were lucky to catch up with Pyro Lucain recently and have shared our conversation below.
Pyro , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?
The moment when I knew I wanted to pursue the creative path, it was two instants, first one was being around my uncles who had a independent label, and also seeing them manage my older cousins rap group.
Second moment was when my dad took my to my first concert at 9 years old to the Ruff Ryders and Cash money tour, that really had me and that’s when I made my decision on me being involved.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I got into the music scene when I was young I was influenced early on, my family business had a lot to do with it, two of my uncles owned a independent label, which gave me first hand sight on the music industry. I picked up producing around 14-15 years old, a few years prior at about 10-11 I wanted to rap first, around that time? The rise of the kid rappers was in full force, so with all of my influences from my mother and father, and uncles It was just something I picked it up naturally.
As of today? I’m a producer/artist, along side of me composing records for myself, I also worked such as Dave East, Albee Al, Fred Da Godson, Nelly, Dizzy Wright Etc, with a wide selection of up coming artists who currently have names for themselves such as Chello, Keen Streetz, SNS, K Goddess, Semore Buckz.
To add? I own a label named Firehouse Music Group and it’s not just a label it’s also a help and mentor space for artist and producers who want to get in the music industry, I give them advice and knowledge on the music business, I also help artist find there sound and cadence to their fit.
One of the things that sets me apart from others is my work ethic, I released a lot of work within the last 4 years, I feel like that’s what keeps me on my game, I’m always trying to out beat myself.
One of the things I’m most proud of is how I made the leap from being just a producer to a artist as well, it gives me a chance to express more creatively and it helps me with being a producer as well, another things I’m proud about is how I’m seeing more and more gravitate towards my work
I plan on making it better and better as time goes on.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
I built my social media, off of being consistent, and really not follow what’s going on or be concerned on what’s going on now with all of these internet tactics, I just go out and build and network naturally and I just built it from there.

Any resources you can share with us that might be helpful to other creatives?
I feel like the resources are more prevalent now then they ever was, especially with the up rise of social media, and all we have to do is just look up anything you need know about the music business or any business for that matter.
