We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Angela & Alicia Vervaet a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Angela & Alicia thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
We both have auto immune issues that cause dry skin. We shopped around and could not find products that would help. So we decided to do our own body products. Alicia came up with our secret recipe that you will find no where else. Our products have been a game changer for us and our customers.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
We got into this industry because we needed body care products that have
moisture. We came up with our own recipes for all of our products. We go above other companies as our products are totally customizable. We can accommodate any colors and scents people may want and need for graduations, bridal showers, baby showers, gender reveal, holidays even wedding favors.
Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
No two markets are the same. We can have a really great week and the next week can be horrible. You have to be able to roll with both outcomes to keep going. You need to find what market works for you and not what works for other people. No two vendors will have the same makers for themselves.
How’d you meet your business partner?
We met back in 2015 and got married in 2016. We knew we could go into business together and not look back. We do everything together so why not work together.
