We were lucky to catch up with Steve Daigle recently and have shared our conversation below.
Steve, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What sort of legacy are you hoping to build. What do you think people will say about you after you are gone, what do you hope to be remembered for?
I would hope that my legacy would be one who was not afraid to step out and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ through planting a church campus and the way that I lead and love people.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I am the Campus Pastor at Calvary Chapel Parkland, one of 10 regional campuses of Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale. We planted the church 5 1/2 years ago. It started as a Bible Study after the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, FL. We have moved from a middle school, to a backyard, to a hotel, to a movie theater, to our current location over the last 5 1/2 years, but it is the people that God blessed us with as a staff and volunteers that I am most thankful for. Our mission is to make disciples by reaching our community and changing our world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
In 2020, when COVID happened, we were no longer allowed to meet in a school, so we had online services for a bit and then in the backyard of a 4KIDS home outdoors. When it was time for all of our campuses to go back inside for services, we had nowhere to go until God provided a hotel for us. When the business came back for the hotel, we then prayed and God provided a movie theater. As we continued to pray, one day after visiting Chick Fil A with the family, I saw a For Lease sign on our current property and God opened up that location for our church.

Any advice for managing a team?
The best advice for managing a team and maintaining high morale is truly loving and caring about your people. When you get to know your people individually and are able to meet their needs and remove obstacles, their morale remains high so they can provide the best experience for those visiting
