Littlebug isn’t just a business—it’s a reflection of my passion for creativity, self-expression, and connection. My mission is to inspire others to embrace their dreams, no matter how big or small, and to remind them that joy and creativity are essential parts of life.

As a child, I always felt the magic of art. Painting, drawing, and creating allowed me to express myself in ways words couldn’t. But as I grew older, the pressures of life and expectations made me question whether pursuing something creative could be a “real” path. When I discovered face painting, it reawakened that childhood wonder. It wasn’t just about painting faces—it was about giving people, especially children, a moment of pure joy and a chance to see themselves as something extraordinary, even if just for a day.

This became my mission: to inspire others to follow their dreams, just as I chose to follow mine. Every face I paint is a reminder that creativity matters. Seeing a child light up as they become a butterfly, a superhero, or a magical creature reminds me of how powerful small moments can be.

Through Littlebug, I want to show others that pursuing your passion—no matter how unconventional—can be meaningful and impactful. My hope is that the joy and confidence I bring through my art can spark something in others to chase their dreams and add a little magic to their lives.

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?

Starting my business, Littlebug Face Painting, in Killeen, Texas, was a dream come true, but life had other plans. As a military family, I had to pivot and move the business not once, but twice. Each move presented its own challenges, but through resilience and the unwavering support of my family, I was able to rebuild and adapt. Today, I am proud to have restarted and grown the business in San Antonio, Texas, where I continue to offer face painting services, supplies, and classes, turning every challenge into an opportunity for growth.”

“My reputation in the face painting market has been built on a foundation of quality, creativity, and connection.
