One of the most meaningful projects I’ve worked on with SKG Projects was Live Session 001. This session wasn’t just a music recording—it was an experience rooted in the heart of why SKG Projects exists: bringing creatives together to glorify God with the talents and gifts He’s given us. Too often, we get caught up in comparisons or competition, forgetting that our gifts are not for elevating ourselves but for giving glory back to the One who gave them. Live Session 001 was a beautiful reminder of this truth.
This project was about unity, collaboration, and celebrating diversity in creativity. We brought together an incredible group of people, each with a unique perspective and skill set. Creatives like Josh McGriff and Paulito Works captured moments visually, while my audio partner Lufsound ensured every sound was captured with excellence. Catleegraphy, the one and only, brought her own energy, rounding out a team that worked seamlessly together. We also welcomed vendors who added their own flavor and energy, creating a vibrant atmosphere.
The best part of our Live Sessions is the preparation—the time spent brainstorming, rehearsing, and simply being together. Those moments build relationships and set the tone for something extraordinary. Whether it’s planning the structure, troubleshooting challenges, or just sharing laughs, those times reflect the heart of SKG Projects: unity and fellowship.
What makes Live Sessions so special is that no two will ever be the same. Each one is a reflection of the people involved, the gifts they bring, and how God moves through the process. It’s never about recreating a formula but allowing the uniqueness of each gathering to shine. This session showed how powerful it is when we come together, lay aside our egos, and use what God has given us to glorify Him.

My name is Sebastian Gonzalez, and I’m the founder of SKG Projects, a creative community and network based in New Jersey. I’m a husband, drummer, and entrepreneur driven by a passion for helping people realize their God-given creativity and using it to make a meaningful impact. My journey into this space began with music at a very young age, but it quickly grew into a larger mission: creating a community where creatives feel supported, inspired, and equipped to walk in their purpose.

The driving goal and mission behind my creative journey with SKG Projects is rooted in legacy. Legacy is key and vital to everything we do—it fuels my determination and shapes the way I approach every project. I firmly believe that what we create today has the power to inspire and impact generations to come. This understanding pushes me to invest in meaningful work and build something that lasts beyond myself.
A significant part of this legacy is the realization that we cannot do it alone. Partnering with others is essential to making the world a better place. Whether it’s collaborating with local businesses to help them thrive or working alongside musical artists and creatives to amplify their voices, I’ve seen firsthand how much stronger we are together. These partnerships aren’t just transactional—they’re rooted in purpose and shared vision.
Through SKG Projects, my goal is to not only deliver excellent work but to create a platform where others can step into their potential. I want to see musicians, creatives, and brands realize their unique purpose and make their mark in the world. It’s about creating something bigger than any one individual—something that reflects God’s glory, brings people together, and leaves a lasting impact.

Are there any books, videos or other content that you feel have meaningfully impacted your thinking?
My approach to management and entrepreneurship has been deeply shaped by the wisdom of my mentor and spiritual father, Peter Roselle. He taught me the importance of leaving a lasting impact on both the present and the future. Though he is no longer with us, his passing impressed upon me how vital legacy is in life. His guidance continues to influence the way I approach SKG Projects and every creative endeavor, as I strive to honor his teachings by investing in meaningful work that lasts beyond my lifetime.
Another significant resource that shapes my philosophy is reading the word of God, particularly the parable of the talents. This story reminds me of the responsibility we all have to steward our God-given gifts and not let them go to waste. It’s a powerful lesson about using what’s been entrusted to us to grow, multiply, and ultimately glorify God.
Lastly, being married to my amazing wife, Yaneli, has been one of the greatest blessings in keeping me grounded and focused. She consistently points me back to Jesus when I’m seeking clarity or direction. Whether I’m faced with tough decisions or wrestling with a plan, her wisdom and faith remind me to trust in God’s purpose He has for me.
