Alright, Dionne thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Crazy stuff happening is almost as certain as death and taxes – it’s technically “unexpected” but something unexpected happening is to be expected and so can you share a crazy story with our readers

As a Psychic Medium I’m asked many different questions, see all kinds of images, and experience many different sensations. I once did a Mediumship reading for a woman who wanted to connect to her father that had passed years earlier. Immediately the energy felt sharp, direct even. I knew her father wanted to convey a serious message. It felt like time was of the essence. Her father kept showing me dead roses on her work desk, and would not stop showing me that image until she stated who the roses were from. Once she confirmed her ex gave her the roses, and that they were not on great terms he began to deliver the real message or should I say… warning.

I saw flashes of her car, and a knife. Her father showed me an exterior door lock, like the ones on the garage or back doors. I kept feeling the rushed anxiousness of time. I kept telling her it felt like there was something she needed to file or extend and quickly. I received images of what looked like documents. It soon hit me that her father was directing her to file a restraining order. My client agreed her ex could be erratic at times but seemed a bit skeptical of my message and even nonchalant. I continued to explain the images her father was showing me, to include a vent in her home, and the sensation of being secretly watched. She thanked me for my reading and went on her way. I was left with chills.

Two to three months later my client returned for another session, this time telling me she had JUST filed a restraining order. Her ex had been following her, popping up at her job. Her ex had vandalized her vehicle, and threatened her with a knife. She stated it also looked like he had tried to break into her home prior to that. Now she wanted to know if he would be caught before he reached her again.

This is definitely one of the many memorable stories, but its a reminder that our loved ones are always near and trying to protect us. People often ask how is it possible for her deceased father, who was not psychic while alive, could warn of future events. Well, our loved ones return to energy and have a birds eye view of our lives and what’s to come. So the next time you’re frustrated that traffic isn’t moving fast enough, be calm, it could be a loved one guarding you from a mishap ahead.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

I’ve always been very intuitive and knew I had spiritual gifts early on. Of course thirty years ago Psychic Mediums were not as accepted, so I did my best to suppress this part of me. I joined the military right after graduating and served in the Air Force for twenty years. During this time I was known to be the “therapist” as everyone wanted to come sit in my office and chat or ask for advice. Funny thing is, most of the guidance I gave was channeled guidance, received from their spirit guides. So what did I do? I got my Masters in Psychology thinking I would have the perfect cover. Once I retired and started working as a Guidance Counselor at a college, I was miserable! I loved the students but energetically I felt so drained and knew I was being called in another direction. My co-workers would often come to my office again, but this time I was giving them readings. This continued to happen regularly so I hopped on social media at the advice of my spiritual mentor and friend.

I knew the drain I felt was because I was being redirected to live in my truth and fulfill my purpose. So I quit my job! I was a wreck but I trusted in the divine. The goal was to build an online presence so that I could earn income by “Going Live”, build a clientele, and show that I’m the real deal and not a scam. I posted a video the night I quit my job, at the time I only had 500 followers, and needed 1k in order to “Go Live”. Well, I woke up and had the additional 500 followers I needed. Nothing is Coincidence. I believe this was the universe rewarding me for stepping into my true self and no longer hiding.

Service has always been along my aligned path, my whole life has been dedicated to serving others. Assisting people through difficult times, advocacy, and helping others to recognize their value and to love themselves have always been at the forefront. The issue was me not being my authentic self. Now I am thriving and loving myself, no longer hiding from the world. This allows me to really be able to help those that seek esoteric guidance and spiritual coaching.

How did you build your audience on social media?

Consistency! I’ve never been a huge social media person so I had to start from zero. The big thing is to just do it, and then keep doing it. Post through the discomfort, post regularly, and get passionate about it. Another tip is to engage. Like other posts made in your city, and make sure to comment as well. I’ve received bookings from clients who mentioned they visited my page through a comment I left on someone else’s post. All of this helps to market you, your brand, and your online persona. I would also recommend responding to comments left on your own posts. If you’re able to respond with video, you now have more content. Everything is marketing. I’m still new, but I’ve definitely seen faster growth incorporating these strategies.

What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?

Reviews are gold! In this industry its about making sure the client feels safe. Safe to express their emotions and ask any question without judgment. Its also important for my messages to be clear and accurate. This builds trust and leads to repeat customers. If a client is skeptical, they can always visit your review page and see the great experiences others have shared to encourage booking. Reviews also come in the form of personal referrals. Word of mouth is also a great source of new clients for me, and I’m so thankful. It basically comes down to ensuring the client has a great experience with you from beginning to end, and after during the follow up.
