Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Eunmi Han. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Eunmi thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Do you manage your own social media?
I work with an amazing team to manage social media for both brands we operate. Le Conte Jewelry, which is under my name, is developed in collaboration with Jamie, our Brand Strategist. The other is HIDDENSPACE Jewelry, which my husband designs and directs. He works with his team, including Pauline and Schulamie, to create beautiful and creative content for the brand.
For Le Conte, Jamie has been instrumental in shaping our social media presence. She spent months interviewing me, asking countless questions to deeply understand my vision and what I want to communicate to clients. From that understanding, she creates the most beautiful images and videos that perfectly align with our brand.
I personally prefer working closely with someone who truly understands my brand and vision rather than hiring random influencers. A strong team that genuinely “gets” your work can present it far more authentically and effectively. I’ve realized that I couldn’t achieve the level of quality and connection with my audience without my team.
For other business owners, I highly recommend finding someone who understands and respects your vision. Take the time to connect with the right person or team—they can elevate your brand in ways that feel natural and aligned with your goals.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
Art isn’t just limited to crafting or painting – it’s a lens through which you view the world, finding beauty and meaning in life’s most personal and transformative moments. From sketch to paint, and from paint to gold, every brushstroke in Le Conte’s creations tells a story. As an artistic soul journeying through life, you encounter what Le Conte calls Golden Moments – fleeting yet profound instances that define your story. I believe jewelry serves as a tangible token of those moments, turning them into everlasting mementos that preserve life’s most heartfelt memories. Derived from the French word meaning “a tale or short story of adventure,” Le Conte’s collections reflect a variety of painting techniques, artistic motifs, and creative concepts. At Le Conte, we treat each handcrafted piece as a work of art that tells a unique story, inspiring you to Paint Your Golden Moment.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
For me, the most rewarding aspect of being an artist is the journey of bringing my ideas to life. There’s a unique joy in visualizing something in my mind—an image or texture that feels almost intangible—and then working through the challenges to make it real. One example is the Impasto collection, which took nearly two to three years to develop. I even learned new programs to achieve the exact texture and imagery I envisioned. When the final pieces came out as I had imagined, it was an incredibly fulfilling moment. It felt like turning a fleeting thought into something tangible and timeless.
Another source of immense joy is when people see my work and resonate with the intentions behind it. With Le Conte, I’ve deliberately stepped outside certain trends to create a brand identity that feels true to me, even if it wasn’t immediately understood. For the first couple of years, only a small audience recognized what I was trying to convey. But now, almost three years in, more and more customers are connecting with the layers of meaning behind our pieces.
For example, I’ve always prioritized sharing the inspirations behind a design over just explaining its features. I also avoided overly polished, commercial aesthetics in my branding, choosing instead to focus on the storytelling and artistry behind each piece. It’s incredibly rewarding to know that these details—the ones I hold closest to my heart—are noticed and appreciated. As an artist, there’s no greater thrill than seeing people truly understand and connect with your work.

Have you ever had to pivot?
When I first founded my brand in 2016, I struggled to define its core message and identity. At the time, I was creating celestial-themed jewelry. While the designs were visually appealing and even made their way into a few stores, they didn’t feel authentic to what I truly wanted to express as a designer. I realized I needed to take a step back and ask myself some fundamental questions: What do I genuinely love? What art styles resonate with me the most? What message do I want to share with my customers?
This period of reflection lasted nearly two years, but it was essential. My husband (the owner of HIDDENSPACE Jewelry) and I both understood that without a strong foundation, nothing we created would truly connect with people. That’s when I discovered “art” as my guiding theme—not a specific art form or era, but the broader concept of art and the stories it can tell. The idea of creating a “gallery-like brand” emerged, giving me the freedom to draw from my favorite colors, textures, and inspirations to craft something uniquely mine.
A pivotal moment came when I was working on a pendant design with a round shape and textured layers resembling paint squeezed from a pigment tube. I realized the design felt too similar to a piece a designer friend had created. I stopped immediately and went back to the drawing board, determined to create something that felt more authentically like a painting brought to life. That’s when I decided texture would be the key to achieving the look I envisioned.
The process, however, wasn’t easy. During the pandemic, when the studio was closed, I began learning new software online to refine the textures I wanted to create. It was a challenging endeavor—I had already mastered my usual tools, and starting from scratch with a new program felt frustrating and even like a waste of time at first. But in hindsight, I know it was one of the most pivotal decisions I made for Le Conte. Without that effort, I wouldn’t have been able to translate my vision into reality or create the kinds of pieces that truly represent my brand today.
