We were lucky to catch up with Laura Hernandez recently and have shared our conversation below.
Laura, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to hear the backstory behind a risk you’ve taken – whether big or small, walk us through what it was like and how it ultimately turned out.
Many years ago, I decided to follow my heart’s desire. Deep in my heart, I knew there was a greater way to live life, a way to live without the pain I was holding in my heart, body, and soul.
I took action on my suffering and decided to help others stop theirs.
I am an engineer that decided to become a coach. So imagine how many times I was told how foul I was.
How often have friends, relatives, or your brain stopped you from following your heart’s desires?
How often are you allowing someone else’s beliefs, limitations, and life experiences to stop you?
How many times have you chosen not to follow your dreams?
Limiting beliefs are false beliefs that prevent us from pursuing our goals and desires. They can keep us from doing important things, like applying for our dream job, building our business, finding the relationships we want, or leaving the ones we don’t want. They can also keep us from doing adventurous and fun things, like skydiving.
I was told I was not being abused, and I was.
I was told I should not divorce, and I did.
I was told to find a job and created a job for myself.
I was told I would never make a living from coaching, and I did.
I was told to listen to my fears, and I became brave.
I was told I only had a dream, and I am living it.
But the true story is that I have never had a financial goal or still have. My goal has always been to find a way to stay happy and become the best and more loving version of myself that could hold space for someone else’s dreams, hopes, happiness, or pain.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I channeled my pain and suffering into transformative and healing love that aids me in helping individuals on a one-on-one basis while spreading a tide of love, fulfilment and happiness throughout the world.
To achieve it, I mentor, coach, and train others to fulfill their goals and create and experience a life they love.
I offer consciousness coaching and mentorship based on self-empowerment, unified physics, Vedic science, stress management, internationally recognized coaching, practical neuroscience, meditation, mindfulness mental health practices, and energy techniques,
Personally, I overcame my struggles and fears with all the above techniques. So I not only have the knowledge I have been gaining through more than 10 years. I know all my techniques and methods work because they have work for others, and they have work for me.
I have clients in USA, Canada, Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Panama, Venezuela, Nicaragua, England, Spain, India, Dubai, Australia, Germany, Switzerland, France, Ireland, New Zeland, Israel, Algeria, Turkey, Nigeria, Africa, and South Africa and have served many of the top companies in the Silicon Valley.
Mentoring and Coaching are my life purpose. As a mentor/coach, I intend to open space for my clients to become empowered. We walk the darkness of their shadows to discover their light. As they shine bright, they shine bright in their lives and their environment, helping the world become a better place.
And this is my ultimate goal. to leave my dearest life knowing that I was able to support, help and enhance others’ lives; knowing that my life mattered and that my actions contributed to this beautiful world I love.

Putting training and knowledge aside, what else do you think really matters in terms of succeeding in your field?
All of us want to succeed in any field in life. However, the biggest challenge of goal setting is aligning our actions with our heart’s desires. Finding this alignment can be a painstaking, lifelong process if we do not listen to the heart and act with our minds.
Our mind is filled with all the reasons we should not venture into the unknown. This can cause significant stress and despair. We prioritize the unfulfilling actions, and we get stuck in a career, relationship, or situation that, deep down, we don’t enjoy or want.
So how do we discover our life’s purpose? How can we unearth the chosen career or pursuit that’ll give us meaning? By following your heart, doing what makes us happy, and enjoying the process.

Have you ever had to pivot?
I did this in the introduction 😉 ( see panel discussion)
