We recently connected with Lisann Valentin and have shared our conversation below.

Lisann, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Was there a defining moment in your professional career? A moment that changed the trajectory of your career?

A moment that pops out for me is when I realized I’d been playing small. I’ve been highly intuitive my whole life and when I finally became a Certified Spiritual Coach I thought I’d finally allowed myself to show up in my gifts. But I was wrong.

I was hiding, staying “palatable,” meekly giving away sessions that didn’t allow me to be available to the soul-aligned clients I knew I was here to help.

Then one day, I had an experience with a person who was out of alignment as a coach; from my perspective, they weren’t behaving with integrity nor were they honoring the shamanic path. That experience lit a fire under me.

Not only was I able to take action to shed light on that injustice, but I started to become more vocal about my lineage as a 5th generation shaman, about the way I learned to navigate energy healing and the Akashic Records.

I started to show up as a Spiritual CEO, fully embodied, honoring the call on my life. This changed everything.

Aligned clients began showing up, and by walking beside them on their respective journeys, I kept hearing the phrase “life-changing,” over and over again. My roar got them to roar right back, these high-profile performers, CEOs, and politicians were investing in themselves and it was creating beautiful changes in their lives.

The bonus? The more I roared in my own gifts, the more visible I became, with a feature in The Daily Mail, and being quoted in Parade Magazine and Healthline, among other media outlets. That visibility is helping me be of service to even more people.

When I finally let myself loose, a new version of me came to life. And my transformation helped ignite that same change in others. But it took that moment of inequity for me to realize that it was time to step out of the shadows and to be unapologetic with my light.

Lisann, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

My journey has taken me from the courtroom to the red carpet, through the cosmos!

As a lawyer-turned-actor, I co-authored the New York Times bestseller Eat Pray Love Made Me Do It, and have appeared on shows like Manifest and The Blacklist. These pivots on my path were guided by a deep Spiritual life.

As a child, I learned meditation and energy healing. Fortunately, I developed my intuition through the ancestral wisdom of the healers in my family. As an adult, I continued my training with mystics, shamans, and spiritual leaders across the world, becoming a Certified Spiritual Coach and Reiki master. This rich blend of traditional and modern spiritual practices continues to guide me—and my clients—through each career and life pivot.

I work with high-profile leaders, Emmy winners, public figures, and fellow mystics, helping them release outdated identities and confidently step into the next phase of their leadership. Many of them face the pressure of public scrutiny and the noise of outside opinions, and I help them discern their own truth and inner guidance. Whether through one-on-one coaching or my group program, Akashic Intelligence, I support these powerful individuals as they deepen their spiritual practices and shine a spotlight on their calling.

What sets me apart is my ability to blend the practical with the mystical. I’m often described as an “expander” for my clients, guiding them to the next level of their spiritual growth. I offer non-denominational guidance through the Akashic Records, energy activations to upgrade their internal “software,” and deep, supportive connection as they integrate these transformations.

I’m proud of the impact I’ve had and I’m honored to be a trusted guide in their journeys.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?

I had to stop hiding!

Although I grew up in a household full of intuitives with a rich lineage of energy healing, it was kept secret for fear of public scrutiny. I took this with me for years before I fully allowed myself to untangle from it.

My career as a Wall Street litigator and Holywood actor was part of that untangling. The Spiritual practices I learned led me on those paths so that I could heal through generations of hiding, allowing myself to speak boldly, honoring my voice and allowing myself to be seen. By the time I finally said yes to the calling on my life as a Shaman, I was fully prepared for the role. And I was able to shed old fears of rejection that shrouded my gifts.

Walking the talk.

I teach what I know and that’s why I magnetize people who are famous in their field and are ready to pivot. My breadth of experience across industries along with my lineage and training would not be effective if I didn’t take my own medicine.
