We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Jackie Nunez a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Jackie, appreciate you joining us today. What do you think matters most in terms of achieving success?
Success comes in so many shapes and forms. For some, success may mean to be your own boss and others is making a change in the world. For me success means being authentic and building my own business that helps others. I started Flowworksmedia because as a creative myself, I was surrounded by so many talented creatives from Djs, musicians, poets, painters, flow dancers ect. I saw how deep their passion was for their art and I wanted them to share their message with a larger audience and help others. I wanted them to have a spotlight by interviewing them and asking them questions on their journey and share any advice to new up and coming artist. I think them sharing their success helps others reach that success.

Jackie, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Flowworksmedia started off as a vision of my friends getting the recognition they deserved and more. I wanted a space for creatives like singers,Djs, poets, painters, vendors, and flow artists to share their vision and their story of their creative path. To make this possible, I conduct interviews with local artist and ask them about their creative path and how they started, places where they perform, and any advice they want to share with any up and coming artist. At Flowworksmedia we also provide photo and video packages for artist performances and music videos. Flowworksmedia is also working on managing singers. Managing will include scheduling shows and promotion on our Instagram and Tik Tok accounts. What we are most proud of is the community we have brought together by taking music and expression and move forward and help others find their craft. (@Flowworksmedia on Instagram and Tik Tok)

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
A time when we had to really give it our all was when we got the opportunity to work our first festival which was Goldrush music festival. We only had one photographer on the team and myself conducting the interviews. We were so excited to have an opportunity to capture what the EDM community is about and how music brings us all together. We both used the art of flow during that event following where we felt called too. Using our creative side, we captured flow artist in the crowd, shufflers and artist performances. We also interviewed randomly selected ravers and asked them who they were most excited to see that night. That event showed me what some of my strengths are when working large festivals and how to manage for future events.

Have any books or other resources had a big impact on you?
Me myself am spiritual and my business is actually built on some spiritual principles such as flow, letting go, creation and energy. Some resources that have significantly impacted my entrepreneurial thinking are the books the 7 Spiritual Law of Success and Karma what it is what it isn’t why it matters. Additionally, I would like to mention some YouTubers that have helped me tremendously who are Ayandastood, Aaron Doughty and Lucas Segeren.
