Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Rama Ginde. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Rama , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Coming up with the idea is so exciting, but then comes the hard part – executing. Too often the media ignores the execution part and goes from idea to success, skipping over the nitty, gritty details of executing in the early days. We think that’s a disservice both to the entrepreneurs who built something amazing as well as the public who isn’t getting a realistic picture of what it takes to succeed. So, we’d really appreciate if you could open up about your execution story – how did you go from idea to execution?
cooking has been our love language in our family for decades. When my mom and I decided to come up with a consumer package, good products we knew we wanted to do some thing that was beautiful, delicious and full of good!
We knew we wanted to share our family traditions, recipes, and love language through food.
after thinking about the easiest way to get into the modern every day, we knew spice blends would be easy and effective. With spices, you don’t need to think about how to use them too much. A lot of the times you can just sprinkle them on your everyday foods and they make a big difference.
After lots of late nights and long weekends, we wanted to focus on our story and our why.
we knew if we did that first everything else would come easier..
After visiting our farms in India, we just knew we were in the right place at the right time! The whole process of birthing this business has been surreal!

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
They say that food is the greatest testament to love – never dying, never unrequited.
Satya tells a modern-day love saga rooted in India. We draw inspiration from our family recipes, so future generations can enjoy explosive Indian flavors and confidently reinvent their culinary experiences. Satya is an extraordinary tale of upholding traditions, while cultural boundaries melt away. It is our tribute to a remarkable individual, Sati, whose pride in Indian heritage, culinary expertise, and belief in quintessential Indian hospitality served as an inspiration for her daughter, Anita, and granddaughter, Rama.
With Satya, we pay homage to Sati’s legacy through an exquisite range of Indian spice blends that are versatile enough to enhance global cuisines and transcend cultural boundaries. Our blends do not discriminate; they make all cuisines delicious. Satya embodies love and longing, entwining traditions with modern circumstances. The result is bombastic flavors to liven up meals for busy people who want to experience happiness with every bite.

We’d love to hear about how you met your business partner.
I have the best cofounder/business partner in the world! I’ve been literally cooking with my mom since I was in her tummy. One of my earliest memories as a kid was sitting on the kitchen counter and making homemade samosas and spring rolls!

We’d love to hear about how you keep in touch with clients.
We love, keeping in touch with our community through being authentic, doing as many in person events as we can, and making sure we are supporting them even after they purchase. Nothing makes us happier when our community personally reaches out to us and shares their experience or their recipes.
