We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Samantha Brannoch. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Samantha below.

Hi Samantha, thanks for joining us today. What’s been the most meaningful project you’ve worked on?

I have worked with a church down in Franklin. I was able to do Christmas sessions for families who have children with Special Needs. They were all so appreciative and excited to have good pictures of them as a family. I also was one of the photographers for the “A Night to Shine” prom for people with Special Needs. Being able to see their faces- the excitement and just feeling on top of the world, was so wonderful. I grew up with my mother working with Special Needs, and I actually myself have a daughter who is autistic. So, I have grown up learning how to work with different abilities’ and now that my young toddler also has special needs- I just feel it on a different level. I know how challenging it can be, and I want everyone to be able to have amazing memories.

LaLa Photography Nashville is a boutique photography studio located in the heart of Mt. Juliet, offering a wide range of personalized photography services. We specialize in capturing life’s most cherished moments, including newborn, maternity, milestone, and family portraits, as well as senior photos, headshots, cake smashes, holiday sessions, events, and on-location shoots. Whether in our studio or at a location of your choice, we are dedicated to delivering high-quality, memorable images tailored to each client’s unique vision.

At LaLa Photography Nashville, we focus on creating an unforgettable experience for every client. We’re not just about taking pictures—we’re about capturing the moments that tell a story. My philosophy as a photographer is rooted in authenticity. I strive to create a relaxed, enjoyable environment where clients feel comfortable expressing themselves. It’s important to me that people feel seen and heard during their sessions, so that the photos we create together truly reflect who they are. Whether it’s a milestone event, family portrait, or newborn, my goal is to capture the essence of the moment and the individuals involved.

Since launching LaLa Photography Nashville, we’ve been fortunate to grow and evolve with each new project. We are a full-service photography studio known for its attention to detail, customer care, and the ability to produce high-quality work in both portrait and event photography. We’ve had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients—from families and businesses and each experience has helped refine our craft and strengthen our commitment to providing exceptional photography services.

I also have worked with many special needs clients. As a mother of a daughter with autism, and having had the privilege of working with many individuals with special needs, I have developed a deep understanding and patience when it comes to creating a positive and comfortable experience. I strive to provide an environment that is both welcoming and supportive for all clients.

In addition, I have been honored to participate as one of the official photographers for A Night to Shine, a special needs prom hosted by the Tim Tebow Foundation. This annual event is incredibly meaningful to me, as it celebrates and empowers individuals with special needs, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to contribute to such a wonderful cause.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

I have been passionate about the arts my entire life, having worked as an actor almost my whole life. My journey into photography began about five years ago, almost by chance, and it quickly became a true passion. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to work alongside my incredible mentor at the Las Vegas LaLa photography location, which helped refine my skills and broaden my perspective.

As an artist at heart, I’ve always enjoyed expressing creativity in different forms. Photography has allowed me to combine my love for working with people and my passion for creative expression in a way that feels truly fulfilling. It’s been an exciting and rewarding experience to merge these two worlds, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to create memorable images that tell unique stories.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

Building a strong reputation at LaLa Photography Nashville has been a result of several key factors. First and foremost, it’s about delivering high-quality, personalized service that exceeds client expectations. I truly believe in the power of word-of-mouth, and I strive to build lasting relationships with each client, ensuring they feel valued and understood throughout their experience.

Another factor is my dedication to continuous improvement and staying current with trends in both photography and customer service. I make it a priority to not only create beautiful images but to also provide an exceptional, stress-free experience. Whether it’s accommodating special requests, offering flexible scheduling, or simply taking the time to listen to my clients, I aim to make every session memorable.
