Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I discovered my passion for event planning when I began organizing my daughter’s birthday parties each year. I enjoy creating all the arts and crafts myself. As a result of this, one of my closest friends asked me to plan their baby shower. I was able to bring all her visions to life and even exceed her expectations. Fast forward 12 years later, during the Covid pandemic, I delved deeper into balloon styling through research and found myself completely immersed in it. I decided to open a social media account to showcase my work and see what it could bring. Here we are, each day working to grow our small dreams into bigger ones.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I would say that my biggest struggle throughout my various stages has been managing time effectively and balancing the multitude of roles I juggle each day. In life, nothing is smooth sailing. Operating a business entails much more than one initially anticipates. Often, we dive into these opportunities without considering all the essential tools required for successful business management. In addition to balancing the responsibilities of being a single parent, managing parenthood, holding down a corporate job, and finding time to nurture and grow the business is a challenging yet rewarding journey.

I’m a balloon stylist from the Bronx, spreading magic across the tri-state area! My specialty lies in creating unique and exciting balloon decorations that bring joy and excitement to all kinds of events. Nothing makes me happier than seeing those big smiles, especially at kids’ events – it’s pure magic! As a hands-on, budget-savvy DIY mom myself, I understand the importance of finding affordable solutions. That’s why I love helping my clients discover creative ways to bring their balloon dreams to life without breaking the bank. What sets me apart is my ability to offer budget-friendly options without compromising on quality or creativity. Making their events pop with balloons that are both affordable and fabulous!

Networking has been instrumental in the success of my business, especially since I recognize that I can’t do it all on my own. As a balloon stylist, collaborating with event planners has been a key aspect of our operations. While event planners work on bringing all the elements of an event together, we specialize in creating the main focal point of the event with our stunning balloons and backdrops. This collaboration allows us to focus on what we do best and deliver exceptional results that complement the overall event design.
In addition, having close relationships with fellow professionals in the industry, including social media besties who are already established in the business, has proven invaluable. These connections are always ready to share tips and tricks that help us continue to elevate the Balloon Styling industry. By learning from their experiences and expertise, we get to provide our clients the current trends in balloon creations.
