Today we’d like to introduce you to Rob Wellz
Hi Rob , can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I’ve been rapping for most of my life. Me & my brothers got our first microphone and studio equipment in 2011 and have been recording ever since. 2 years later after getting comfortable within the music environment, I had designed and created our first prototypes of 40 Star Apparel
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
This journey has definitely been a rollercoaster in both major and minor accomplishments as well as troubled times, pain & lessons to be learned. One year I got to celebrate having the number 2 release on the iTunes Swedish charts and than another year I have to come to terms that I can no longer work with my brother/ business partner/ and co-founder of the dream we built from the ground up. The memories & art we created up til then remains timeless and a blessing to say the least. Everything moving forward is forever in his honor.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am an MC. I am a rapper. I am the CEO of my label & clothing company. I like to focus on maintaining some sort of message, theme, or precise delivery on every record I create or feature on. I am very proud of the recognition I have been able to get me and my team over the years as well as leading other artist in the right direction as much as possible. I try to always stay true to hip hop while still balancing a healthy amount of versatility and growth as time goes on.
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
Music will always make me happy. It’s my healthiest addiction. My family and loved ones always supporting me make me happy. My wife & newborn son most definitely make me happy as well (and my dog Rollie as well)
Helping people and making progress is something that really makes me happy, too. Knowing i assisted in making someones day better or doing a job or leading someone to make their day to day more efficient or just increasing someones positive energy is what i try to implement in my everyday life.
