Hi Lasha, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?

LaSha Marie has over 20 years experience consulting with progressive companies globally to identify top talent as a six-figure Talent Acquisition Manager. So, In her passion of helping career-driven individuals pull out their very best skill-set, LaSha’s next business endeavor turned “purpose” was a seamless transition. However, in 2018 LaSha Marie found herself displaced after being laid off in Atlanta, Georgia. Shortly afterwards she relocated to Auburn, Alabama with her family and $87.00 in her banking account. With that hardship and the pandemic to follow she decided to publish her first book; “The Secret That Gave Me Wings” which discusses her years of s*x abuse that she encountered from the ages of 2-12 years old. That single act of AUDACITY in becoming an Authorpreneur created multiple streams of income and opened spaces to dominate on stages nationwide alongside credible Speakers and Ministers. Today, LaSha Marie has pivoted her platform to arming the community with resources to improve their lives by showcasing progressive leading entrepreneurs. Her vision also extends to encouraging others to amplify their voice by sharing their story, journey or testimony. Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?

With every business there is a learning curve, life challenges and the need to get it right. I realized that being hyper critical of self or reaching for perfection or even giving up after failing was a destructive view. Many entrepreneurs, (especially if you have multiple gifts/talents) will go through trying to figure out their “purpose”. I always say, “work all your gifts and talents” to really divide where the true passion explodes. Your “purpose” will always supersede your talent or gift exposing what the heart really tugs at effortlessly.

Struggles are there to refine you but also test how dedicated you really are to your vision. Going into Season 3 of Hello Audacity Podcast I found myself reworking processes to streamline things, hiring producers, selecting a coach and also identifying ways that I can monetize a service that my guest do not pay for. There was a value I was providing to others but how do I produce and highlight the value in myself as a host to pull in sponsorships and other funding not dependent on downloads.

Simply put, a business road is never smooth. You need the bumps to refine the brand that’s sought after.

I specialize in “AUDACITY”. I enjoy highlighting individuals that are bold, brave, and fearless. That’s the pulse of individuals that evoke change in the world. As the Host of Hello Audacity Podcast AND as a Professional Speaker, I empower others to own the wants in their “heart” and analyze the thoughts in their “head”. The head can create doubt, negativity and it manufactures fear where it simply doesn’t exist. I’m a “BRANDS” biggest hype spokesperson. As a Host, I pull out the substance of a “BRAND”. I help entrepreneurs paint the story of humble beginnings before they found the right recipe for success. We all have a story and part of our beautiful journey is being able to provide a full view of their AUDACITY walk in life, good, bad or indifferent! Hello Audacity Podcast doesn’t just highlight leading and successful new or seasoned entrepreneurs. LaSha Marie has a dedication to those with amazing testimonies but also hearing stories of those with hardships, trauma and even crime. LaSha Marie is a survivor of s*xual assault, mental illness (depression and anxiety), attempted suicide (twice) and a host of other life stains so it’s important to have open and candid conversations regarding domestic violence, rape, toxic relationships, substance abuse, reformed s*x workers or beyond.

I’m most proud that I’ve chosen to amplify my voice on my own platform and I get to bring others along this wonderful ride with me. My energy is unmatched and that’s how I get others to freely open up and reciprocate energy; that’s the secret sauce. Integrity & Humility! We forgotten that people are “human”. They hurt, they make mistakes, they fail and fall short, they are flaws and often shamed. Today, we are lacking ethics and integrity in our day to day lives. Forgetting to lead with compassion. We don’t all have to agree but we can all learn something from one another.
