We recently connected with Jayson Featherson and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Jayson, thanks for joining us today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?

The story behind my mission would, be getting people too know Jesus Christ, and what he did on the cross through fashion in clothing. We want to reach people who are lost and blinded. In this world to understand the grace, and love of God that can only found through Jesus.

Jayson, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

My name is Jayson and I’m 22 years young. I started this clothing business, to help spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. I feel that I was called to bring more people to Christ and what he did for humanity. The products I provide is scriptures shirts and sweatsuits, to remind people of the gospel. What set me apart from others is my brand is purpose driven and it can impact others eternally. The thing I’m most proud of is starting this brand in general, due to a lot of procrastination and self doubt. I think that it is hard to take a leap of faith in things in life. But this something I’m very proud of my self in doing. The main thing I want people to know, is that Jesus is the way the truth and the life.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

How I built my audience on social media, was, posting my shirts and running ads constantly on all of my social media platforms. My advice for those who are starting a business would be praying about it consistently, being consistent, taking it one day at a time, and not go into it with any expectations.

Okay – so how did you figure out the manufacturing part? Did you have prior experience?

No, I did not manufacture my own products. I got started with doing research from other brand owners. To see how they got started and how they got there products in hand. I didn’t know how to manufacture a product, everything I know now I had to learn for myself. I found my vendor by taking my time and just researching. The lessons I learned along the way, about manufacturing a product is that it’s a process and it’s not going to come quick.
