We recently connected with Liza Lynx and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Liza, thanks for joining us today. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?

I’ve wanted to be a business owner and choreographer since I was six years old. I directed shows at school and engaged my classmates, loving to dance and express music through my body. In high school, when it was time to choose a career, I decided to attend the Kiev Circus Academy of Variety and Arts to earn a degree in pantomime. That’s how my creative journey began

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

My name is Liza Lynx, and I’m an aerialist, choreographer, singer, show director, and songwriter. I’m also the owner of an entertainment company. I’ve always been drawn to the circus, seeing it as a special and unique world that inspired me to create and perform.

At Neon Circus NYC, we offer live entertainment services featuring a diverse range of performers: aerialists, dancers, contortionists, illusion jugglers, stilt walkers, singers, and more. We’re known for our glow-in-the-dark props, costumes, and lights, bringing an electrifying and modern twist to each performance.

Our goal is to make every event unforgettable and one-of-a-kind. What sets us apart from other entertainment companies is our commitment to high-level, contemporary circus performances with a distinctive style that’s uniquely ours. I’m incredibly proud of the quality of our acts and costumes, and there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing the happy faces of our clients and reading their fantastic reviews.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?

I absolutely love watching the expressions in people’s eyes as they experience our performances. Seeing the awe and wonder on their faces is incredibly rewarding. It’s inspiring to witness how deeply they appreciate and respect our talented performers, who pour their hearts into every act. There’s something magical about creating those unforgettable moments for the audience and knowing that our performers are leaving a lasting impact on them.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?

My mission is to connect with people through the power of art. I aim to captivate both kids and adults at events, sparking wonder and joy in each performance. It’s not just about entertaining; it’s also about creating meaningful moments that might inspire or even teach something new. I strive to move people deeply through songs, dance, and performance, awakening emotions within them that they may not have known existed. Art, for me, is a bridge to reach people on a personal level, evoking feelings and memories that resonate long after the show is over.
