Hi Lex, thanks for joining us today. The first dollar your business earns is always special and we’d love to hear how your brand made its first dollar of revenue.
The story is actually ironic now that I sit back on the birth of Rebel Revamp. Transitioning to another state and career field, was definitely left field for me, but I was willing to accept everything that came with this new journey as an entrepreneur. My very first client was gained from sharing some of my recent graphics, while advertising to revamp (reconstruct) their social media presence aimed to increase engagement analytics and exposure.
I’m forever grateful for that first client in that era, because they showed me how implementing “trust” first, ignites a magical connection from beginning to end. Rebel Revamp Marketing Agency LLC, has been nonstop since.


Lex, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Of course! Hello familiar and non-familiar faces, I am Lex Junior, Lead Graphic Designer, Specializing in Marketing and Branding based here in Greensboro, North Carolina as an online marketing agency assisting over hundreds of businesses near and far with their branding and marketing challenges.
I am originally from Montgomery, Alabama and a proud HBCU graduate from The Alabama State University obtaining both my BSW & MSW shortly afterwards. Not soon after graduate school, I decided to abruptly relocate and switch career paths. I decided to enroll in the entrepreneurship program offered at the local community college, Fayetteville Technical Community College, where I began studying marketing and business.
Unfortunately, COVID-19 adjusted our program, causing the world to shift. While in that same shift, I decided to apply the knowledge I had soaked up while taking these in person courses and give it a run with my audience on social media. I chose “Rebel” because that expresses my persona, the Virgo if you will … while “Revamp” reflected my perspective of the world, my world, my creative domain, always changing always evolving always revamping. The birth of Rebel Revamp.
I would love for everyone to know that success looks different for all of us, once you define your meaning of success, apply limitless energy and effort, a legacy is born.


What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
The most effective strategy for growing my clientele has been being completely transparent regarding my journey and design process. I not only show my results, but I also share tips and hints on techniques that can also be applied so that others can achieve well rounded results just as I am.
