One of the most rewarding experiences as an entrepreneur or professional is helping you client succeed. Their wins are your wins and often it’s what makes all the challenges of running a business worth it. We think one of the best ways to learn how to do this more often for your clients is by reading the stories of others and how they’ve helped their clients win and so we’ve shared client success stories from brilliant entrepreneurs from across a variety of markets and industries below.

This is not a specific success story, but a general one regarding the affirming feeling I experience each time somebody selects my work to help define their home. It’s an honor to place your work in client’s space where it will be seen and experienced everyday. This goes for my photography as well as the unique pieces that—with love and dedication—my husband and I curate for our antique and decoration store. Read more>>

My business is all about empowering maternity photography. I worked with a pro runner named Katie Follett during her pregnancy. She was used to being a svelte runner, after becoming pregnant she was struggling embracing her new body. I invited her out to my studio for a maternity shoot. Although she was hesitant, she agreed to shoot. At the start of her shoot, she was visibly nervous, however, after getting into the rhythm of the maternity photos, I could see her confidence return. She ended up staying for almost 4 hours. She was beaming by the time she left my studio. Read more>>

One of the biggest success stories we see time and time again, is with restaurants. For the first time in alcohol, we’re bringing to the table a ready-to-drink, cocktail-like option that is both great tasting, clean, and functional. A restaurant has limited tap and menu space, and the brand of IPA or alike often doesn’t impact their number of pints sold or overall sales numbers. With Local Roots, however, not only is it bringing a functional and organic offering, but it’s also low calorie/carb and inherently, less filling. Read more>>

His Mercy and Grace Inc. started in 2008 providing clothing, food and haircuts to the unhoused community. In 2016 we became a 501c-3 and started providing mobile showers along with food, clothing and haircuts. In 2020 during the start of the pandemic we began to provide employment services and partnered with other organizations to provide housing services and Covid vaccines. After renting shower trailers for almost 6 years we have finally received enough money to purchase our own shower trailer to provide mobile showers and other services more often. Read more>>

I Saved a Wedding by giving my couple permission to cancel their wedding. My job brings me joy and I have a great deal of imagination. But sometimes my job isn’t easy or fun when I need to help my couples make hard decisions. Let me explain; I was hired to put together a wedding very quickly, giving me only six weeks to plan. The family explained to me that the couple needed to get married as the brides father’s health was deteriorating due to cancer. They were aware he would not be on this earth much longer and provided me with their vision for their wedding celebration. I went to work immediately. Read more>>

One of my favorite customer stories was a customer on Instagram who tagged me in their queer joy involving a greeting card I sell. One of my best sellers is my Uhaul Lesbian greeting card; an inside joke within the queer community about moving in with your partner and often “uhauling” to move. A customer tagged me with an image of my card in front of their Uhaul with the beautiful story of how they had just moved in with their girlfriend and the story of their journey in life as a lesbian. This experience almost made me cry and I was so happy to have been able to share in their queer joy and such a special moment with my artwork. It has most definitely stuck with me as I continue to embrace my queerness in my designs and business. Read more>>

For American women, wearing a swimsuit in public can be a complex issue. I have struggled my entire life to find a swimsuit I feel comfortable and confident in, that reflects my style, and is made under working conditions that dignifies those making our clothes. A tall order to find in one piece, but I have high standards I don’t want to compromise on. Because I haven’t been able to find this myself, I knew I’d have to help create it. When I hear from customers the swimsuits I designed are helping them fill this gap they’re looking for as well, it makes all the long days and nights pursuing this endeavor worth it. My favorite response I’ve heard is “I love this bathing suit! I haven’t worn a two-piece since 5th grade when my mom told me I was too chubby. Feeling empowered.” Read more>>

One of my favorite client success stories is of my client Shannon. Shannon approached me about training her in May of 2020. She had been a member at my previous gym and was looking to get tighter and overall healthier. When we first started working together, I realized she wasn’t eating enough during one of our sessions. It was around 3:00 pm when we would train. She mentioned she was getting dizzy and needing a break. I asked her, “What did you eat today?” She cheerily said, “A Green Smoothie.” I said that’s it! She was like it was a green smoothie with a lot of stuff. Read more>>
