Mozhgan , appreciate you joining us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?

My mission is to empower individuals through authentic, accessible beauty. I focus on classic eyelash extensions and Lash lift, natural enhancements that subtly boost confidence while fitting seamlessly into the lives of busy professionals—doctors, lawyers, educators, and others—who value a polished yet professional look. Beauty, to me, should enhance who we truly are without masking it, and after 16 years in this field, I find it deeply rewarding to help women feel seen and confident.

But my mission doesn’t stop there. I’m also committed to teaching my skills to others and motivating them to build independent careers. If I could do it, anyone can—believing in yourself is the key to achieving your dreams. I want more women to realize their potential and have the courage to step out of their comfort zones. By sharing my expertise and experiences, I hope to inspire a new generation of women to take charge of their futures, one skill and one belief at a time.

Hi there!
I’m a licensed esthetician with over 16 years of experience, and I’ve been running my studio in Irvine for about 10 years now. I got into beauty because I love helping people look and feel their best, but over the years, I’ve realized my mission goes deeper than that. I’m also a Reiki master and a quantum healer, and I believe in the power of healing and the ‘Science of Mind’ . I know that real beauty starts from within.

Coming from a background shaped by war and trauma, I understand how hard it can be to carry pain and find peace. I’ve met so many wonderful clients with their own stories and struggles, and I feel it’s no coincidence that we’ve crossed paths. Through my main work in beauty, I want to help people feel free and confident, not only on the outside but in their spirit, too. I know my purpose is more than just enhancing appearances—I’m here to connect with people on a deeper level and guide them toward healing in their lives.

At my studio, I offer services like lash extensions, keratin lash lifts, brow shaping, tinting, and permanent makeup. I work mostly with professionals and busy moms who want a polished, natural look that’s easy to keep up with. My clients are teachers, doctors, lawyers, businesswomen—people who want to look and feel good without a lot of fuss. My focus is always on natural, classic beauty because I believe in enhancing what’s already there rather than covering it up.

What I’m most proud of is the chance to help others, not only by providing services but by teaching and inspiring those who want to build their own paths. I also offer private Eyelash Extensions training for those who want to learn this craft, because I believe that anyone can reach their dreams with the right support. How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?

One of the biggest pivots in my journey was when I shifted from solely providing beauty services to also teaching and mentoring others in the field. For years, I was focused on building my own business and perfecting my skills, but over time, more people started asking how they could learn what I do. That’s when I realized my mission was evolving. There was a real need for training specially after hearing for so many years from professionals how they wished there was more people doing lashes that are not fake looking.
At first, I wasn’t sure if I was ready to step into the role of teacher, but I took a chance and started offering private training sessions. This decision has been life-changing—not only for me but for the incredible people I’ve had the privilege of mentoring. Helping others build confidence and start their own careers has brought a new layer of meaning to my work. Now, teaching and inspiring others has become one of the most fulfilling aspects of what I do, allowing me to support others in achieving their dreams while staying true to my own mission.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?

I believe my reputation within the market has been built on a few key things. First, I genuinely enjoy meeting new people and connecting with my clients, which helps build trust and rapport quickly. I’m also dedicated to mastering my craft—I’ve spent years practicing, investing in private training, and perfecting my skills. It’s this commitment to quality that makes my work special and keeps clients coming back. They know the results will always be exactly what they’re hoping for, if not better!

Word-of-mouth referrals are a huge part of my business. Clients love my work so much that they often send friends and family my way, which means a lot to me. I have many mothers who started as clients and eventually brought their daughters to see me, creating a sense of family and continuity. Clients often mention that they appreciate my punctuality and the cleanliness of my studio. I know those details matter, and I make them a priority.

Because of this attention to both the technical and personal side of my work, my clients rarely leave unless they move. They become regulars who know they can rely on me not just for great results but also for a professional, warm, and welcoming experience.
