We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Alexander Kussovski a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Alexander, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We’ve love to hear an interesting investment story – what was one of the best or worst investments you’ve made? (Note, these responses are only intended as entertainment and shouldn’t be construed as investment advice)
I am producing a short action comedy movie with part of the money I was able to generate in my first year as a working actor/stuntman in Los Angles. I have the script written and plan to shoot it by the end of the year. I am really excited because I will be working with the best stunt team in Hollywood. The idea behind the short is to showcase my talent and reach as many industry professionals as possible. I will be sending the movie to festivals once it’s done so I am aiming for some awards as well.

Alexander, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I was born in Sofia, Bulgaria in 2002. When I was six I started training Taekwondo and felt in love with it. I got my black belt and won the Golden Buzzer in Bulgaria’s Got Talent. I met this girl while performing on the show and it turned out that she was taking acting lessons. I was like “what is that acting, maybe I should check it out”. A week later I was in the theatre rehearsing with my girlfriend. What started as chasing a girl turned into an addiction for the acting craft. A couple of months passed and I started auditioning for roles. My first role was as a peasant in a movie. I didn’t do much but I got to see the beautiful sets and told myself that I wanna be working in that kind of environment. I started taking stunt classes as well and it turned out that I was pretty good due to my martial arts background. Not long after I was doubling lead actors on set. I graduated high school and moved to Los Angles to pursue my dream. Here I played the lead role in Peter Pan. Toured two months as an actor and stuntman for the show “The Thorn”. Furthermore, I shot a bunch of short movies and even stunt coordinated a few student projects. I also shot an episode for History Channel and Million Dollar Houses, and appeared as a guest star on few shows. Currently, I am auditioning and producing my own short movie. I am working hard and am excited to see what God has prepared for me.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
I try to post what I am doing and what my interests are. I am looking to see what people like viewing and according to that I choose in which direction to fall. Most of my staff on social media are workouts or meals and achievements that I am proud of. If you wanna check them out you can follow my instagram. @alexanderkussovski

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect is seeing people getting motivated by myself. I like experiencing people smiling after a show that I do. For instance one of the last shows I had on tour was in Fox Theatre in Detroit. The theatre was enormous and the performance was sold out. At the end of the show the lights in the audience went on and I saw five thousand people cheering. The feeling was indescribable and I knew me and the cast had done a great job. If I can make you escape the reality and believe my circumstances that means everything to me.
