We were lucky to catch up with Loushay Davis recently and have shared our conversation below.
Loushay , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today If you had a defining moment that you feel really changed the trajectory of your career, we’d love to hear the story and details.
When working with people and healthcare you have to have patience, passion and dedication. Since working in my career with veterans, I have been able to give back and serve others. One of my patients who is mute used his electric writing pad to take tell me to “get it girl “ and you got this” since we both achieved degrees in business administration and “you are just getting started” . I am striving to set a goal and achieve it with God 1st. I was able to use the same positive attitude with my modeling which I became published two times.

Loushay , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My name is Loushay Davis, I am originally from Houston Texas with part residency in Atlanta Georgia as well. Born 25 weeks premature only weighing 1 pound with challenges of epilepsy, cerebral palsy, asthma, just to name a few. A little girl with big dreams from Texas became a woman with a vision. Despite the many trials, tribulations and tragedies, I didn’t let my struggles get me down and achieve success by being a first-generation college graduate at Prairie View A&M and obtained a master’s in business administration with a concentration in business and healthcare management in Georgia. I am published model for Texas and Georgia also I am a business owner of Eccentricqueenz where the name will trademark on clothing and items. I am relaunching on my online store. I am also launching a second brand called Black Jewel. Follow Eccentricqueenz on Instagram and Facebook. My favorite Motto: I am too stressed to be blessed with all that mess. Be true and authentic and everything else will follow.

Do you think you’d choose a different profession or specialty if you were starting now?
Yes, I would choose the same profession because it helped mold me into the person I am today.
We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
I had to keep God 1st and let him handle the rest including removing things and people out my life with negative vibes and energy.
