We recently connected with Alisha Neal and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Alisha, thanks for joining us today. Was there a moment in your career that meaningfully altered your trajectory? If so, we’d love to hear the backstory.
After losing my daughter, Hunter Grace, I knew I had to keep her memory alive, and so many others also wanted to do the same for their babies they had lost.
A huge defining moment for me, and why I know I need to continue what I am doing, is when I see families finding their babies we are remembering, the tears and love you can see to have their babies remembered!
Giving families who have lost a baby or child the support, compassion, and love needed in their darkest day is truly the why of what I do, it’s a little act of kindness that means so much to so many.

Alisha, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I am the founder of Angel Babies, a 501c3 non profit hosting memorial events, donating burial gowns and support to families in their darkest days. I founded Angel Babies after the loss of my daughter, to help with my grief, build a community of follow families who have lost a baby and building her legacy over the years.
I quit my dream job and jumped in head first into run and building a non profit. We have a team of over 100 volunteers that help with events, make items, transform wedding gowns in to burial gowns and more. I am always working, meeting volunteers, donating and helping families.
I give my all, so much love and always pushing to help as many families as possible is what makes us different from other groups!
I am most proud of the community Angel Babies has become, families know they aren’t alone and their babies will be remembered!

If you could go back, would you choose the same profession, specialty, etc.?
Absolutely!! Losing my daughter was a huge pivot point in my life and absolutely know I am doing what I should be!
Training and knowledge matter of course, but beyond that what do you think matters most in terms of succeeding in your field?
I am learning as I go, adjusting with the times, covid I though we were done and we just worked together and learned a new way of getting items to families.
